Kinerja merupakan aspek inti untuk terlahirnya tujuan dan fungsi pendidikan atau pembelajaran di sekolah. Sedangkan lahirnya kinerja guru sangat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa komponen atau faktor, antara lain: kurikulum merdeka, efikasi diri dan kompetensi profesional dan kepuasan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan di Kecamatan Kota Sigli, terdapat empat sekolah menengah atas. Dari keempat sekolah tersebut, tiga di antaranya yaitu SMAN 1 Sigli, SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli, dan SMA Islam Terpadu Al-Uswah telah berhasil mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka pada kelas X, XI, dan XII. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, 1. Pengaruh Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap kinerja guru 2. Pengaruh Motivasi terhadap kinerja guru 3. Pengaruh Kurikulum Merdeka dan Motivasi terhadap kinerja guru. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 102 responden yang di pilih secara acak dari tiga sekolah yang terakreditasi A dan B. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah divalidasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier ganda untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum merdeka secara signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja guru, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,092. Setiap peningkatan dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka tersebut berpotensi meningkatkan kinerja guru. Selain itu motivasi kerja juga memberikan pengaruh ysng signifikan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,360. Secara bersama-sama, kombinasi antara kurikulum merdeka dan motivasi kerja memiliki konstribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai F sebesar 12,672 dan p-value 0,001. Koefisien untuk merdeka belajar (0,092) dan motivasi kerja (0,360) menunjukkan bahwa keduanya saling melengkapi dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru, yang mencakup kemampuan menyampaikan materi, pengelolaan kelas, dan interaksi dengan siswa. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penerapan kurikulum merdeka serta motivasi kerja yang mendukung untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru.

THE INFLUENCE OF THE MERDEKA CURRICULUM AND WORK MOTIVATION ON TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN KOTA SIGLI SUBDISTRICT ABSTRACT (Rika Asyura) Performance is a core aspect for the realization of the goals and functions of education or learning in schools. Meanwhile, teacher performance is greatly influenced by several components or factors, including: independent curriculum, self-efficacy, professional competence, and job satisfaction. Based on the results of observations conducted by the researcher in Sigli District, there are four senior high schools. Of these four schools, three of them—SMAN 1 Sigli, SMAN 3 Unggul Sigli, and SMA Islam Terpadu Al-Uswah—have successfully implemented the Independent Curriculum in grades X, XI, and XII. This study aims to determine: 1. The effect of the Merdeka Curriculum on teacher performance? 2. The effect of motivation on teacher performance? 3. The effect of the Merdeka Curriculum and motivation on teacher performance. Using a quantitative approach, this study involved 102 respondents selected randomly from three schools accredited with grades A and B. Data were collected through validated questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the hypotheses. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum significantly influences teacher performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.092. Every increase in the implementation of the independent curriculum has the potential to improve teacher performance. In addition, work motivation also has a significant influence with a regression coefficient of 0.360. Together, the combination of the independent curriculum and work motivation has a significant contribution to improving teacher performance, as indicated by an F value of 12.672 and a p-value of 0.001. The coefficients for independent learning (0.092) and work motivation (0.360) indicate that both complement each other in improving teacher performance, which includes the ability to deliver material, classroom management, and interaction with students. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing the independent curriculum and supporting work motivation to improve teacher performance.
