Telur ayam ras adalah salah satu sumber makanan yang kaya akan protein. Telur ayam ras menjadi jenis telur unggas dengan permintaan yang paling tinggi diantara telur unggas lainnya. Permintaan telur ayam ras cenderung fluktuatif, pada beberapa waktu tertentu permintaan telur ayam ras sangat tinggi, misalnya pada saat perayaan hari-hari besar dan sebagaimya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan telur ayam ras dan bagaimana respon elastisitas terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, menggunakan satu variabel terikat yaitu permintaan telur ayam ras dan enam variabel bebas yaitu harga telur ayam ras, harga ikan tongkol, harga daging ayam ras pedaging, harga minyak goreng, harga beras dan pendapatan perkapita. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa data time series bulanan dari januari 2020 sampai Desember 2024. Setelah data didapatkan kemudia data diolah dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS.
Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa variabel harga telur ayam ras, harga ikan tongkol, harga daging ayam pedaging, harga minyak goreng, harga beras dan pendapatan perkapita secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras di Kota Banda Aceh. Secara parsial, Variabel harga telur ayam ras secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras di Kota Banda Aceh dengan koefisien sebesar -0,176 yang arahnya negatif dan tingkat signifikansinya sebesar 0,006 < 0,05. Variabel harga ikan tongkol secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan daging ayam ras pedaging di Kota Banda Aceh dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,42 yang arahnya positif dengan tingkat signifikan sebesar 0,023 < 0,05. Variabel harga daging ayam pedaging berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan daging ayam pedaging pedaging di Kota Banda Aceh yaitu memiliki koefisien sebesar 0,117 yang arahnya positif dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,021 < 0,05. Variabel harga minyak goreng berpengaruh negatif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras di Kota Banda Aceh yaitu memiliki nilai koefisien sebesar -0,032 yang arahnya negatif dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,730 > 0,05. Variabel harga beras secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras di Kota Banda Aceh yaitu memiliki nilai koefisien sebesar -0,606 yang arahnya negatif dengan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0, 007 < 0,05. Variabel pendapatan perkapita secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras di Kota Banda Aceh yaitu memiliki nilai koefisien sebesar 0,735 yang arahnya positif dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05Berdasarkan niai elastisitas harga, permintaan telur ayam ras bersifat inelastis, berdasarkan elastisitas silang, ikan tongkol dan daging ayam pedaging merupakanbarang subtitusi, sedangkan beras dan minyak goreng merupakan barang komplementer. Berdasarkan nilai elastisitas pendapatan, telur ayam ras merupakan barang normal

Broiler chicken eggs are one of the food sources rich in protein. They are the most in-demand type of poultry eggs compared to other types. The demand for broiler chicken eggs tends to fluctuate, with particularly high demand during certain periods such as major holidays and celebrations. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the demand for broiler chicken eggs and to analyze the elasticity response of that demand in Banda Aceh City. The study uses a descriptive method, involving one dependent variable, which is the demand for broiler chicken eggs, and six independent variables: the price of broiler chicken eggs, the price of skipjack tuna, the price of broiler chicken meat, the price of cooking oil, the price of rice, and per capita income. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of monthly time series data from January 2020 to December 2024. After collecting the data, it is processed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that the variables — price of broiler chicken eggs, price of skipjack tuna, price of broiler chicken meat, price of cooking oil, price of rice, and per capita income — simultaneously have a significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken eggs in Banda Aceh City. Partially, the price of broiler chicken eggs has a negative and significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken eggs in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient of -0.176, indicating a negative direction and a significance level of 0.006 < 0.05. The price of skipjack tuna partially has a positive and significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken meat in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient value of 0.42, showing a positive direction and a significance level of 0.023 < 0.05. The price of broiler chicken meat has a positive and significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken meat in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient of 0.117, a positive direction, and a significance level of 0.021 < 0.05. The price of cooking oil has a negative but not significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken eggs in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient of -0.032, a negative direction, and a significance level of 0.730 > 0.05. The price of rice partially has a negative and significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken eggs in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient of -0.606, a negative direction, and a significance level of 0.007 < 0.05. Per capita income partially has a positive and significant effect on the demand for broiler chicken eggs in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient value of 0.735, a positive direction, and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the price elasticity value, the demand for broiler chicken eggs is inelastic. Based on cross elasticity, skipjack tuna and broiler chicken meat are substitute goods, while rice and cooking oil are complementary goods. Based on income elasticity, broiler chicken eggs are classified as normal goods.
