Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Perceived Social Support terhadap Future Decent Work Perception dengan Career Exploration sebagai variabel mediasi dan Proactive Personality sebagai variabel moderasi pada mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 202 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen Universitas Syiah Kuala. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SmartPLS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perceived Social Support berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Future Decent Work Perception. Selain itu, Perceived Social Support juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Career Exploration, serta Career Exploration berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Future Decent Work Perception. Hasil pengujian efek tidak langsung menunjukkan bahwa Career Exploration mampu memediasi secara signifikan hubungan antara Perceived Social Support dan Future Decent Work Perception. Sementara itu, Proactive Personality terbukti memoderasi secara signifikan hubungan antara Perceived Social Support dan Career Exploration, namun dengan arah hubungan negatif, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat Proactive Personality, semakin lemah pengaruh Perceived Social Support terhadap Career Exploration.
Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa dukungan sosial merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap peluang memperoleh pekerjaan yang layak di masa depan, baik secara langsung maupun melalui peningkatan aktivitas eksplorasi karier. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan teori Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) dan Psychology of Working Theory (PWT) serta menjadi masukan bagi perguruan tinggi dalam merancang program pengembangan karier yang mampu meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa memasuki dunia kerja.

This study aims to analyze the effect of Perceived Social Support on Future Decent Work Perception, with Career Exploration as a mediating variable and Proactive Personality as a moderating variable among students of the Management Study Program at Syiah Kuala University. This study employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 202 students of the Management Study Program at Syiah Kuala University. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling, while the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that Perceived Social Support has a positive and significant effect on Future Decent Work Perception. In addition, Perceived Social Support has a positive and significant effect on Career Exploration, while Career Exploration also has a positive and significant effect on Future Decent Work Perception. The indirect effect analysis reveals that Career Exploration significantly mediates the relationship between Perceived Social Support and Future Decent Work Perception. Furthermore, Proactive Personality significantly moderates the relationship between Perceived Social Support and Career Exploration with a negative moderating effect, indicating that higher levels of Proactive Personality weaken the influence of Perceived Social Support on Career Exploration. The findings suggest that social support plays a crucial role in enhancing students' perceptions of obtaining decent work in the future, both directly and indirectly through increased career exploration. This study is expected to contribute to the development of Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) and Psychology of Working Theory (PWT), as well as provide practical implications for higher education institutions in designing career development programs to improve students' readiness for the labor market.
