Pemahaman konsep merupakan fondasi utama dalam pembelajaran matematika. Namun, masih banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika, khususnya pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis etnomatematika. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-experimental desain One Shot Case Study. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-4 SMP Negeri 1 Syamtalira Aron yang berjumlah 36 siswa, dipilih melalui teknik random sampling. Etnomatematika yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kain songket Aceh, yang dijadikan konteks pembelajaran untuk membantu siswa memahami konsep relasi dan fungsi secara konkret dan bermakna. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes esai posttest yang mengukur lima indikator pemahaman konsep matematika. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji-t satu sampel pihak kanan pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan KKM sebesar 65. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 71,94 dengan standar deviasi 8,22. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh t_hitung = 5,07 > t_tabel = 1,689, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi melalui model PBL berbasis etnomatematika telah mencapai ketuntasan belajar.

Conceptual understanding is the primary foundation in mathematics learning. However, many students still struggle to understand mathematical concepts, particularly in the topic of relations and functions. This study aims to determine students' learning mastery on the topic of relations and functions through the implementation of an ethnomathematics-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. A quantitative approach was employed using a pre-experimental design with a One Shot Case Study method. The research sample consisted of 36 students from class VIII-4 at SMP Negeri 1 Syamtalira Aron, selected through random sampling. The ethnomathematics context used in this study was Acehnese songket fabric, which served as a learning medium to help students understand the concepts of relations and functions concretely and meaningfully. The research instrument consisted of a posttest essay measuring five indicators of mathematical concept understanding. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and a one-sample right-tailed t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05 with a minimum passing score of 65. The results showed a mean score of 71.94 with a standard deviation of 8.22. Based on the t-test, t_calculated = 5.07 > t_table = 1.689, leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of H₁. Therefore, it is concluded that students' mathematical concept understanding on the topic of relations and functions through the ethnomathematics-based PBL model has achieved the established learning mastery criterion.
