Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi masih menjadi permasalahan yang sering dijumpai, hal ini karena minimnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran yang konkret. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran belum optimal sehingga berdampak pada pemahaman konsep geografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media diorama 3D terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi di SMAS Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis Pre-Experimental Design dan desain One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes hasil belajar berupa pretest dan posttest, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji statistik t-test untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebesar 54,00, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest meningkat menjadi 78,80. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 13,19 dan ttabel sebesar 1,684 pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Karena nilai thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel, maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbantuan media diorama 3D berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi, khususnya pada materi dinamika litosfer.

The Effect of Implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Model Assisted by 3D Diorama Media on Students’ Learning Outcomes in Geography for Grade X Students at SMAS Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. Low student learning outcomes in Geography remain a common problem, particularly due to the use of less varied instructional models and the limited utilization of concrete learning media. This condition results in suboptimal student engagement in the learning process, which negatively affects students’ understanding of geographical concepts. This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3D diorama media on students’ learning outcomes in Geography at SMAS Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects consisted of one experimental class comprising 25 students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests, while data analysis was conducted using a t-test to examine the research hypothesis. The results showed that the average pretest score was 54.00, while the average posttest score increased to 78.80. Based on the hypothesis testing, the calculated t-value (tₕₐᵣₑₕ) was 13.19, which was higher than the t-table value of 1.684 at a 5% significance level. Since the calculated t-value exceeded the t-table value, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. These findings indicate that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by 3D diorama media has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in Geography, particularly on the topic of lythosphere dynamics.
