Rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem sirkulasi manusia yang bersifat kompleks dan abstrak mendorong perlunya adanya inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan media animasi terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada materi sistem sirkulasi manusia di SMA Negeri 1 Peukan Bada. Pengambilan data dilakukan Agustus 2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes berbentuk soal pilihan ganda dan lembar observasi pengamatan. Sumber data adalah 66 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode quasi experimental dan desain pre-test post-test control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem sirkulasi manusia mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning berbantuan media video animasi. Penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan media animasi efektif meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem sirkulasi manusia.

Under the guidance of Dr. Muhibbuddin, M.S., and Dr. Vivera Ruselli Puspa, S.Pd., M.Pd The low activity and learning outcomes of students on the complex and abstract material of the human circulatory system encourage the need for innovation in the learning process. The study aims to determine the effect of applying the discovery learning model assisted by animation media on the activities and learning outcomes of grade XI students on the material of the human circulatory system at SMA Negeri 1 Peukan Bada. Data collection was carried out in August 2025. The data collection technique employed multiple-choice tests and observation sheets. The data sources were 66 students consisting of 2 classes, namely the control and experimental classes. Data analysis used a quantitative descriptive approach with a quasi-experimental method and a pre-test post-test control group design. The results of the study showed that student activity and learning outcomes on the human circulatory system increased after the application of the discovery learning model assisted by animated video media. The application of the discovery learning model with animation media effectively increased student activity and learning outcomes in the human circulatory system.
