Penerapan manajemen siswa dalam mencegah perundungan di sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor utama yang memengaruhi pedagogi siswa di kelas, sekaligus menjadi tantangan bagi para guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana manajemen siswa berkontribusi terhadap pencegahan perundungan di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi partisipan pasif, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan di SMP Negeri 1 Simeulue Tengah, SMP Negeri 2 Simeulue Tengah, dan SMP Negeri 3 Simeulue Tengah dengan melibatkan 15 partisipan yang terdiri atas; kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru bimbingan konseling, siswa, komite sekolah, dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Penerapan manajemen kesiswaan dalam pencegahan bullying di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Simeulue Tengah belum efektif akibat lemahnya koordinasi disiplin sekolah, peran guru, layanan bimbingan dan konseling, dukungan kepala sekolah, serta keterlibatan orang tua dan komite sekolah; 2) Hambatan utama meliputi rendahnya pemahaman pendidik tentang bullying dan belum adanya kebijakan sekolah yang tegas; 3) Strategi pencegahan perlu difokuskan pada penguatan karakter, integrasi program anti bullying, optimalisasi peran guru dan guru BK, serta penguatan kemitraan sekolah secara berkelanjutan. Penerapan manajemen kesiswaan di SMP Negeri Simeulue Tengah belum optimal dalam mencegah bullying akibat lemahnya koordinasi, kebijakan, dan pemahaman peserta didik dan guru tentang dampakb bullying. Diperlukan penguatan karakter, peran guru dan guru bimbingan konseling, kebijakan yang tegas, serta kemitraan berkelanjutan antara sekolah, orang tua, dan komite sekolah.

The implementation of student management to prevent bullying in schools is a key factor influencing classroom pedagogy and simultaneously poses a challenge for teachers. This study aims to analyze the extent to which student management contributes to bullying prevention at the junior high school level. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through passive participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The study was conducted over three months at State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Simeulue Tengah, SMPN 2 Simeulue Tengah, and SMPN 3 Simeulue Tengah, involving 15 participants consisting of school principals, vice principals for student affairs, guidance and counseling teachers, students, school committee members, and parents. The findings indicate that the, (1) implementation of student management in bullying prevention in public junior high schools in Simeulue Tengah Subdistrict has not yet been effective; This ineffectiveness is attributed to weak coordination in enforcing school discipline, limited teacher involvement, suboptimal guidance and counselling services, insufficient support from school principals, and inadequate involvement of parents and school committees; (2) The main obstacles include educators’ limited understanding of bullying and the absence of firm school policies. (3) Therefore, prevention strategies should focus on strengthening character education, integrating antibullying programs, optimizing the roles of teachers and guidance and counselling services, and reinforcing sustainable school partnerships. The implementation of student management at Simeulue Tengah Public Middle School has not been optimal in preventing bullying due to weak coordination, inadequate policies, and limited understanding among students and teachers regarding the impact of bullying. Therefore, character building, the active role of teachers and guidance counselors, the enforcement of firm policies, and sustainable collaboration among the school, parents, and the school committee are needed.
