Penerapan Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang didukung dengan pendekatan metakognitif berpotensi tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, tetapi juga membentuk kemampuan Self Regulated Learning (SRL). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan metakognitif terhadap hasil belajar dan self-regulated learning siswa pada materi Virus. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan PBL dengan pendekatan metakognitif, dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test dan pearson product moment dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh penerapan PBL dengan pendekatan metakognitif terhadap hasil belajar diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SRL kelas kontrol dan eksperimen diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dan SRL menunjukkan pada kategori cukup. Hubungan SRL dan hasil belajar diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model PBL dengan pendekatan metakognitif terhadap kemampuan SRL dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kategori SRL peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dan berada pada kategori cukup. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara SRL dengan hasil belajar peserta didik.

The implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) supported by a metacognitive approach has the potential to not only improve student learning outcomes but also develop Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) abilities. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with a metacognitive approach on student learning outcomes and self-regulated learning on Virus material. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class given PBL treatment with a metacognitive approach, and the control class using a discovery learning model. Data analysis used an independent sample t-test and Pearson product moment with a significance level of 0.05. The research results show that the effect of implementing PBL with a metacognitive approach on learning outcomes obtained a sig. value of 0.000 < 0.05. The research results show that the SRL of the control and experimental classes obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and SRL falls into the fairly good category. The relationship between SRL and learning outcomes obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there was an effect of implementing the PBL model with a metacognitive approach on students' SRL abilities and learning outcomes. The SRL category of students in the experimental class is higher compared to the control class and falls into the sufficient category.
