Banyaknya permasalahan pendidikan yang menyebabkan menurunnya kualitas dan menurunnya hasil belajar, menjadikan salah satu permasalahan di dalam dunia pendidikan. Model pembelajaran cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) dipilih yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) berbantuan media virtual field trip terhadap hasil belajar siswa geografi SMA Negeri 9 Aceh Barat Daya? Dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengaruh model pembelajaran cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) berbantuan media virtual field trip terhadap hasil belajar siswa geografi kelas XI SMAN 9 Aceh Barat Daya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian eksperimen, dengan desain model pre-test-post-test non-equivalent control group. Teknik pengumplan data menggunakan tes pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitas. Kemudian, dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan hipotesis. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh nilai thitung=3,785 dan ttabel=1,684. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) berbantuan media virtual field trip berpengaruh signifikan dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Aceh Barat Daya.

The number of educational problems that cause a decrease in quality and a decrease in learning outcomes, makes one of the problems in the world of education. The cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model was chosen which can improve student learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by virtual field trip media on the learning outcomes of geography students of SMA Negeri 9 Southwest Aceh? With the aim to increase the effect of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by virtual field trip media on the learning outcomes of geography students of class XI SMAN 9 Aceh Barat Daya. The method used is a quantitative approach and type of experimental research, with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group model design. Data collection techniques using multiple choice tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. Then analyzed using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests. Based on data analysis, the tcount=3.785 and ttable=1.684 were obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students taught using the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by virtual field trip media have a significant effect compared to students taught using the discovery learning model in Geography class XI SMA Negeri 9 Southwest Aceh.
