ABSTRAK
Budaya sekolah dan kompetensi guru berperan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas sekolah, terutama di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Kabupaten Pidie. Produktivitas sekolah ini tercermin dari pencapaian akademik siswa dan kesiapan mereka memasuki dunia kerja. Mengingat peran SMK dalam menyiapkan tenaga kerja berdaya saing, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya sekolah terhadap produktivitas sekolah, pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap produktivitas sekolah, serta pengaruh keduanya secara simultan pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan analisis deskriptif, dengan 14 SMK yang tersebar di berbagai kecamatan dengan total populasi sebanyak 436 Guru dan Kepala Sekolah, sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik Proportionate Random Sampling, sehingga diperoleh tiga sekolah sebagai representasi, yaitu SMK N 1 Sigli, SMK N 2 Sigli, dan SMK N 3 Sigli dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 225 orang yang terdiri dari guru dan kepala sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dan regresi berganda untuk mengukur hubungan antara variabel budaya sekolah dan kompetensi guru terhadap produktivitas sekolah. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas sekolah dengan kontribusi 36,6% (R² = 0,366), sementara kompetensi guru memberikan kontribusi 16,9% (R² = 0,169). Secara simultan, kedua faktor ini menyumbang 53,5% terhadap produktivitas sekolah, sementara 46,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa budaya sekolah yang positif dan kompetensi guru yang tinggi meningkatkan pencapaian akademik, efektivitas pembelajaran, dan kesiapan siswa dalam dunia kerja. Oleh karena itu, penguatan budaya sekolah, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan kemitraan dengan industri menjadi strategi utama untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK.

THE INFLUENCE OF SCHOOL CULTURE AND TEACHER COMPETENCE ON PRODUCTIVITY OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS IN PIDIE REGENCY ABSTRACT (Rahmawati) School culture and teacher competence play a role in increasing school productivity, including vocational high schools in Pidie Regency. School productivity is reflected in students’ academic achievement and their readiness to enter the workforce. Considering the role of vocational schools in preparing a competitive workforce, this study aimed to examine the effect of school culture on school productivity, the effect of teacher competence on school productivity, and the simultaneous effect of both variables on vocational high schools in Pidie Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method and a descriptive analysis. The study covered 14 vocational schools located in various sub-districts, with a total population of 436 teachers and principals. The samples were selected using the proportionate random sampling technique, resulting in three representative schools: State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Sigli, State Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Sigli, and State Vocational High School (SMKN) 3 Sigli, with a total of 225 respondents comprising teachers and principals. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and multiple regression to assess the relationship between school culture, teacher competence, and school productivity. The results of the regression analysis showed that school culture had a significant effect on school productivity, contributing 36.6% (R² = 0.366), while teacher competence contributed 16.9% (R² = 0.169). Simultaneously, the two variables contributed 53.5% to school productivity, while the remaining 46.5% was attributed to other factors. These findings confirm that a positive school culture and high teacher competence improve academic achievement, learning effectiveness, and student readiness for the workforce. Therefore, strengthening school culture, improving teacher competence, and fostering partnerships with industry are key strategies to enhance the quality of education in vocational schools.
