Studi kasus kualitatif ini meneliti kompetensi pengajaran di kelas dari guru bahasa Inggris bersertifikat yang telah mengikuti program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), serta peluang, tantangan, dan solusi yang diusulkan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan mengajar mereka yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi di Aceh Barat. Data dikumpulkan dari tiga guru bahasa Inggris bersertifikat di dua sekolah menengah pertama melalui observasi kelas, kuesioner, wawancara, dan analisis rencana pembelajaran. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa program PPG meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi bidang studi guru, terutama dalam hal penyusunan rencana pembelajaran yang lebih terstruktur serta penambahan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, aspek literasi, dan metodologi pembelajaran abad ke-21. Namun, integrasi teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran di kelas masih belum berjalan secara efisien. Para guru masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital secara efektif akibat infrastruktur yang kurang memadai, pelatihan praktis yang tidak mencukupi, dan rendahnya kepercayaan diri. Selain itu, hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan integrasi teknologi tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kesiapan guru dan akses terhadap infrastruktur, tetapi juga oleh lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung. Fasilitas yang tidak memadai, kesiapan digital siswa yang bervariasi, serta terbatasnya kolaborasi antarguru menegaskan pentingnya kebijakan sekolah yang responsif dan dukungan institusional jangka panjang. Tanpa hal-hal tersebut, upaya mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris berisiko tidak relevan dengan kenyataan di kelas.

This qualitative case study investigates the classroom instruction competencies of certified English teachers who participated in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program, as well as the opportunities, challenges, and solutions proposed for developing their technology-integrated teaching skills in Aceh Barat. Data were gathered from three certified English teachers at two junior high schools using classroom observations, questionnaires, interviews, and lesson plan analyses. The findings show that the PPG program improved teachers' pedagogical and subject competencies, notably in terms of creating better-structured lesson plans and adding higher-order thinking skills, literacy aspects, and 21st-century learning methodologies. However, the incorporation of digital technology into classroom learning remains inefficient. Teachers continue to struggle with efficiently adopting digital technologies due to poor infrastructure, insufficient practical training, and low confidence. Furthermore, interview findings show that the success of technology integration is determined not only by teacher readiness and infrastructure access, but also by supportive school environments. Inadequate facilities, students' varying digital readiness, and restricted teacher collaboration underscore the importance of responsive school policies and long-term institutional support. Without these, attempts to integrate technology into English language instruction risk becoming detached from classroom realities.
