Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran geografi yang disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang interaktif. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Montasik masih bersifat satu arah, yang membuat siswa menjadi pasif dan kurang termotivasi. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berbasis media poster dipilih sebagai alternatif yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, pemahaman konsep, dan daya ingat siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas X di SMAN 1 Montasik, yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 siswa yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning berbasis media poster, dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 26 siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa tes pilihan ganda yang telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model Project Based Learning berbasis media poster terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa. hasil penghitungan menunjukkan bahwa t_hitung ≥ t_tabel atau 1,97 > 1,671 yang berarti H_a diterima dan H_o ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning bebasis media poster memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Montasik. Model ini mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih aktif, kontekstual, dan menarik bagi siswa.

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in geography subjects caused by monotonous and less interactive learning methods. The results of observations show that learning at SMAN 1 Montasik is still one-way, which makes students passive and less motivated. To overcome this problem, the poster-based Project Based Learning learning model was chosen as an alternative that is expected to increase students' active participation, concept understanding, and memory. This study uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental methods and Nonequivalent Control Group Design methods. The sample consisted of two X classes at SMAN 1 Montasik, namely class X-1 as an experimental class of 27 students using a Project Based Learning model based on poster media, and class X-2 as a control class of 26 students using a conventional model. The data collection instrument is in the form of a multiple-choice test that has gone through validity and reliability tests. Data analysis was carried out through normality, homogeneity, and t-test. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence of the application of the poster-based Project Based Learning model on students' geography learning outcomes. The calculation results show that ,t-calculate. ≥ ,t-table. or 1.97 > 1.671 which means ,H-a. accepted and ,H-o. rejected. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model is free of poster media has an influence on the Geography learning outcomes of grade X students at SMAN 1 Montasik.
