Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis adalah salah satu keterampilan terpenting yang perlu dimiliki setiap siswa titik Namun koma pada kenyataannya tingkat kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematis belum dapat dikategorikan baik titik Math anxiety merupakan salah satu hal yang menjadi penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa titik Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara math anxiety dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa titik Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasionaltitik Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri tiga belas Banda Aceh dengan sampel yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu satu kelas sebanyak dua puluh tujuh siswa titik Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan angket math anxiety titik Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan statistik uji t titik Dari hasil pengolahan datakoma dengan taraf signifikan alpha sama dengan nol koma nol lima diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar minus nol koma sembilan ratus lima puluh empat dengan kontribusi sebesar sembilan puluh satu persen dan nilai thitung kurang dari minus t tabel yaitu minus lima belas koma sembilan ratus enam puluh delapan kurang dari minus satu koma tujuh ratus delapankoma maka H nol ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara math anxiety dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di SMP Negeri tiga belas Banda Aceh titik

Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the most important skills that every student needs to have point However commain reality commathe level of students' ability to solve mathematical problems cannot be categorized as good point Math anxiety is one of the things that causes low student learning outcomes point The purpose of this study was to determine the negative relationship between math anxiety and students' mathematical problem solving ability point The method used in this research is quantitative with correlational research type point The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMPN thirteen Banda Aceh with samples selected using random sampling technique commanamely one class twenty seven students point The instruments used to collect data in this study were mathematical problem solving ability test and math anxiety questionnaire point The data in this study were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis and t-test statistics point From the results of data processing commawith a significant level of alpha equal to zero point zero five obtained a correlation value of minus zero point nine hundred and fifty four with a contribution of ninety-one percent and the value of tcount is less than minus t table which is minus fifteen point nine hundred and sixty-eight less than minus one point seven hundred and eight then Hzero is rejected so it can be concluded that there is a negative relationship between math anxiety and students mathematical problem solving ability at SMP Negeri thirteen Banda Aceh point Keywords Correlation math anxiety mathematical problem solving ability
