ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh antara Career Shocks terhadap
Career Optimism yang dimediasi oleh Career Decision-making Self-efficacy dan
Consideration of Future Consequences-immediate sebagai Pemoderasi Pada
Generasi Z di Kota Banda Aceh. sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 178 responden.
Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan
adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan SmartPLS.
Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa Career Shocks berpengaruh negatif secara
signifikan terhadap Career Optimism dengan dimediasi oleh Career Decisionmaking

Consideration of Future Consequences-immediate memoderasi pengaruh Career
Decision-making Self-efficacy terhadap Career Optimism.

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the influence of Career Shocks on Career Optimism, mediated by Career Decision-making Self-efficacy and moderated by Consideration of Future Consequences-immediate among Generation Z in Banda Aceh. The sample consists of 178 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaire distribution. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS. The results of this analysis indicate that Career Shocks have a significant negative effect on Career Optimism, mediated by Career Decision-making Self-efficacy among Generation Z in Banda Aceh. Meanwhile, Consideration of Future Consequences-immediate moderates the effect of Career Decision-making Self-efficacy on Career Optimism.
