Percepatan diskusi di media sosial X terkait Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI memunculkan kebutuhan untuk memahami isu-isu yang sedang ramai diperbincangkan publik. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) merupakan metode yang efektif untuk menganalisis teks dalam jumlah besar dan heterogen, sehingga dapat mengelompokkan diskusi tentang PON XXI menjadi topik-topik utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi topik utama dan sentimen terkait Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI di media sosial X. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kata kunci “PON 2024”, “PON XXI”, “PON ACEH”, dan “PON SUMUT” melalui teknik tweet harvesting, menghasilkan 33.693 tweet dari 1 hingga 30 September 2024. Dengan metode topic modeling menggunakan LDA dan evaluasi kualitas topik melalui coherence score, analisis menghasilkan enam topik utama dengan coherence score sebesar 0,6582. Kata-kata dengan bobot tertinggi pada topik meliputi “korupsi”, “juara”, dan “venue”, yang mencerminkan isu-isu dominan terkait penyelenggaraan PON XXI. Hasil ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang perhatian publik terhadap PON XXI.

The acceleration of discussions on social media related to the XXI National Sports Week (PON) raises the need to understand the issues that are being discussed by the public. Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) is an effective method for analyzing large amounts of text and heterogeneous, so as to group discussions about PON XXI into main topics. This study aims to identify the main topics and sentiments related to the XXI National Sports Week (PON) on X social media. Data was collected using the keywords “PON 2024”, “PON XXI”, “PON ACEH”, and “PON SUMUT” through tweet harvesting techniques, resulting in 33,693 tweets from September 1 to 30, 2024. With the topic modeling method using LDA and topic quality evaluation through coherence score, the analysis produced six main topics with a coherence score of 0.6582. Words with the highest weight on the topics include “corruption”, “champion”, and “venue”, which reflect the dominant issues related to the organization of PON XXI. These results provide an in-depth insight into the public's attention to PON XXI.
