Project Based Learning suatu model pembelajaran yang melibatkan suatu proyek dalam proses pembelajaran. Proyek yang dikerjakan oleh peserta didik dapat berupa proyek perseorangan atau kelompok dan dilaksanakan dalam jangka waktu tertentu secara kolaboratif, menghasilkan sebuah produk, yang hasilnya kemudian akan ditampilkan atau dipresentasikan. Namun guru di SD negeri Lampeuneurut tidak melakukan percobaan membuat saringan air pada materi ekosistem, hal ini dikarenakan materi pembelajaran tersebut materi baru di kurikulum merdeka. Selain itu guru kurang menuntut kreativitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya dalam pembelajaran IPAS pada materi ekosistem. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa yaitu dengan model Project Based Learning adalah model pembelajaran yang melibatkan peran aktif dari pesertanya. Peran fasilitator adalah memberikan permasalahan berupa studi kasus yang nantinya akan diselesaikan pada peserta didik dalam bentuk proyek, sehingga menghasilkan sebuah produk atau karya yang dibuat oleh siswa. Pendekatan yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penilaian kelas Va Vb dan Vd sangat baik pada saat siswa melakukan kolaborasi antar siswa dalam merancang proyek dan juga siswa aktif dan komunikatif adalah dalam berkerja sama satu dengan yang lain. Namun pada kelas Vc bahwa siswa masih kurang baik dalam proses kolaborasi dalam perancangan dan kurangnya ke aktifan siswa pada proses penyelesain saringan air.

Project Based Learning is a learning model that involves a project in the learning process. Projects carried out by students can be individual or group projects and implemented within a certain period of time in collaboration, producing a product, the results of which will then be displayed or presented. However, teachers in the state of Lampeuneurut did not do an experiment to make water filters on the material of the ecosystem, it is because the learning material is new material in the independent curriculum. Besides, teachers are less demanding students' creativity in learning processes especially in learning IPAS on ecosystem material. One of the learning models that can enhance student creativity, namely the Project Based Learning model, is the learning model that involves the active role of the participants. The role of the facilitator is to provide the problem of case studies that will later be solved to the student in the form of a project, thus producing a product or work created by the student. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Based on the results of the research showed that the evaluation of the Va Vb and Vd classes is excellent at the time students do collaboration between students in designing projects and also active and communicative students are in working together with each other. However, in the Vc class that students are still inadequate in the process of collaboration in the design and lack to the student's activity on the water filter design process.
