Kawasan hutan negara yang memiliki pemanfaatan untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat sekitar hutan baik didalam maupun diluar kawasan hutan adalah hutan kemasyarakatan (HKm). HKm Jambur Lateng Desa Peseluk Pesimbe Kecamatan Deleng Pokhkisen Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara merupakan salah satu wilayah di Aceh yang telah memiliki Izin Usaha Pemanfaatan Hutan Kemasyarakatan (IUPHKm). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan potensi hasil hutan bukan kayu, menganalisis kondisi sosial dan kondisi ekonomi masyarakat yang memanfaatkan HKm di Desa Peseluk Pesimbe Kecamatan Deleng Pokhkisen Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara. Lokasi penelitian terletak di Desa Peseluk Pesimbe Kecamatan Deleng Pokhkisen Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara yang merupakan areal HKm di Bagian Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (BKPH) Kutacane KPH Wilayah VI Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan survei, observasi dan wawancara. Penentuan sampel responden pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sasaran penelitian ini adalah petani HKm Jambur Lateng yang aktif mengelola lahan, petani yang berumur produktif, setiap satu keluarga petani direpresentasikan hanya satu orang sebagai sampel dan petani yang dapat memberikan informasi dengan baik dan jelas. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan analisis skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada jenis hasil hutan bukan kayu (HHBK) terdapat aren, kakao, kemiri, kopi dan pinang, serta terdapat potensi HHBK seperti rotan, jernang, pinus, damar dan potensi ekowisata air terjun Jambur Lateng. Kondisi sosial masyarakat dari kategori tingkat pendidikan tergolong cukup baik, tingkat kesehatan tergolong sangat baik, kondisi tempat tinggal tergolong baik dan kedudukan dalam masyarakat tidak ada pengaruhnya terhadap hak pengelolaan lahan di HKm Jambur Lateng. Kondisi ekonomi masyarakat dari kategori kepemilikan aset tergolong cukup baik, memiliki pekerjaan sampingan untuk menambah penghasilan dan pada tingkat pendapatan petani HKm Jambur Lateng Desa Peseluk Pesimbe memiliki pendapatan yang diperoleh Rp2.136.393/bulan yang tergolong pada pendapatan sedang dan dibawah UMP Aceh.

State forest areas that are used to empower communities around the forest both inside and outside the forest area are community forests (HKm). HKm Jambur Lateng, Peseluk Pesimbe Village, Deleng Pokhkisen District, Southeast Aceh Regency is one of the areas in Aceh that has a Community Forest Utilization Business Permit (IUPHKm). This research aims to identify the types and potential of non-timber forest products, analyze the social conditions and economic conditions of communities that use HKm in Peseluk Pesimbe Village, Deleng Pokhkisen District, Southeast Aceh Regency. The research location is located in Peseluk Pesimbe Village, Deleng Pokhkisen District, Southeast Aceh Regency, which is a HKm area in the Forest Management Unit (BKPH) Kutacane KPH Region VI Aceh. This research uses data collection methods with surveys, observations and interviews. Determining the sample of respondents in this study used a purposive sampling technique, the target of this research was Jambur Lateng HKm farmers who actively manage the land, farmers who are of productive age, only one person is represented in each farming family as a sample and farmers who can provide good and clear information. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical methods and Likert scale analysis. The research results show that in the types of non-timber forest products (NTFPs) there are sugar palm, cocoa, candlenuts, coffee and areca nuts, and there is potential for NTFPs such as rattan, jernang, pine, resin and ecotourism potential for the Jambur Lateng waterfall. The social conditions of the community in the education level category are classified as quite good, the health level is classified as very good, the living conditions are classified as good and the position in society has no influence on land management rights in the Jambur Lateng HKm. The economic condition of the community in the asset ownership category is quite good, they have side jobs to supplement their income and at the income level of HKm Jambur Lateng farmers in Peseluk Pesimbe Village, they have an income of IDR 2,136,393/month which is classified as medium income and below the Aceh UMP.
