Penelitian ini berjudul “Pemanfaatan Media Cyber Dalam Proses Belajar Mahasiswa FKIP USK”. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “1) Bagaimanakah mahasiswa FKIP USK memanfaatkan media cyber dalam proses belajar, dan 2) Apakah terdapat perbedaan pemanfaatan media cyber dalam proses belajar antar mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan “1) Untuk mendeskripsikan pengetahuan mahasiswa FKIP USK dalam memanfaatkan media cyber pada saat proses belajar, dan 2) Untuk menjabarkan perbedaan pemanfaatan media cyber dalam proses belajar antar mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 orang mahasiswa FKIP USK di berbagai jurusan yang memanfaatkan media cyber. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa 1) Mahasiswa FKIP USK sebagian besar menggunakan media online berbasis aplikasi seperti YouTube, Web Search, Google Scholar, Canva, dan E-Learning selama proses belajar, pembuatan tugas, forum diskusi online, video pembelajaran, dan media sosial, dan 2) Terdapat perbedaan penggunaan media cyber pada mahasiswa Exact dengan mahasiswa sosial, contohnya mahasiswa Exact bisa menggunakan media dari mahasiswa sosial karena hanya sebatas tentang metode ilmiah saja, tetapi mahasiswa sosial tidak bisa menggunakan media dari mahasiswa Exact karena membutuhkan peluang untuk proyek penelitian dengan berbagai jenis keahlian. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil oleh peneliti adalah 1) Dalam proses belajar mereka, mahasiswa biasanya aktif memanfaatkan berbagai jenis media cyber berbasis internet, seperti forum diskusi online, platform pembelajaran online, video pembelajaran, dan media sosial untuk dapat memperoleh informasi tambahan, dan 2) Mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan memiliki kebutuhan dan tujuan yang berbeda sesuai penggunaannya. Jurusan-jurusan tertentu cenderung menggunakan jenis media cyber yang spesifik.

Rosa Amelia (2024). The Use of Cyber Media in the Learning Process of FKIP USK Students. This study is entitled “The Use of Cyber Media in the Learning Process of FKIP USK Students”. The problem in this study is “1) How do FKIP students use cyber media in the learning process, and 2) Are there differences in the use of cyber Media in learning process between students from different disciplines. This study aims to "1) to describe the knowledge of FKIP USK students in using cyber media at the time of the learning process, and 2) to illustrate the differences in the use of cyber Media in learning process among students of different specialties. In this study the researchers used a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The subject of this research is 20 students of FKIP USK in various specialties who use cyber media. The data collection was done using a live interview technique. Based on the results of the research, it was found that 1) FKIP USK students mostly use online media based on applications such as YouTube, Web Search, Google Scholar, Canva, and E-Learning during the learning process, task creation, online discussion forums, video learning, and social media, and 2) There is a difference in the use of cyber media in Exact students with social students, like Exact student can use social media because it's only about scientific methods alone, but social student can't use Exact media students because it requires opportunities for research projects with different kinds of expertise. The conclusions that the researchers can draw are: 1) In their learning process, students typically actively utilize various types of Internet-based cyber media, such as online discussion forums, online learning platforms, video learning, and social media to be able to obtain additional information, and 2) Students from different disciplines have different needs and purposes according to their use.
