Muhammad Pasya (2024): Analisis Motivasi Sains dalam Pembelajaran Biologi pada Siswa SMA di Glumpang Tiga Pidie.

Pembelajaran biologi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran cabang dari sains yang di pelajari di SMA. Motivasi sains penting diketahui mengingat motivasi merupakan dorongan dalam bertindak terutama dalam sains. Berdasarkan dari penelitian sebelumnya di ketahui bahwa terdapat lima faktor motivasi sains dimiliki motivasi intrinsik, motivasi karier, motivasi nilai, determinasi diri, dan efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor motivasi sains dimiliki oleh siswa SMA di daerah Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga. Penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan desain penelitian survei. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh Siswa SMA di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga dengan mengambil sampel yang memiliki kriteria kelas XI jurusan IPA di SMA seluruh Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga yang di dapati terdapat 5 kelas yang memenuhi kriteria. Total populasi: 134 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan metode menyebarkan angket yaitu kuesioner motivasi sains diadaptasi dari Science Motivation Questionnaire II 2011 Shawn M. Glynn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dimiliki siswa SMA di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga memiliki jawaban dominan sering dari kelima faktor motivasi sains dalam kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian di ketahui bahwa terdapat lima faktor motivasi sains dimiliki motivasi intrinsik, motivasi karier, motivasi nilai, determinasi diri, dan efikasi diri siswa SMA di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga memiliki pilihan sering dengan rentang persentase 38,1%–61,2%, berdasarkan dominasi pilihan maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa pilihan menjawab dominan motivasi sains siswa SMA di Kecamatan Glumpang Tiga pada pilihan sering.

ABSTRACT Muhammad Pasya (2024) Analysis of Science Motivation in Biology Learning for Glumpang Tiga Pidie High School Students. Biology is one of the branch subjects of science studied in high school. Science motivation is important to know, considering that motivation is an impetus for action, especially in science. Based on previous research, it is known that there are five factors of science motivation: intrinsic motivation, career motivation, value motivation, self-determination, and self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the factors of science motivation owned by high school students in the Glumpang Tiga District area. This research is descriptive-quantitative with a survey research design. The population of this study were all high school students in Glumpang Tiga Subdistrict. By taking a sample that met the criteria of class XI majoring in science in high schools throughout Glumpang Tiga Subdistrict, we found there were 5 classes that met the criteria. The total population is 134 people. The research data were collected using the method of distributing questionnaires, namely the science motivation questionnaire adapted from the Science Motivation Questionnaire II 2011 by Shawn M. Glynn. The results showed that the motivation of high school students in the Glumpang Tiga sub-district had a dominant answer, often from the five factors of science motivation in the questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it is known that there are five factors of science motivation: intrinsic motivation, career motivation, value motivation, self-determination, and self-efficacy. High school students in Glumpang Tiga District have frequent choices with a percentage range of 38.1%–61.2%. Based on the dominance of the choice, it can be concluded that the dominant answer choice of science motivation of high school students in Glumpang Tiga District is often.
