Karakter amanah merupakan karakter utama yang harus terpatri dalam jiwa manusia untuk diaplikasikan dalam rutinitas sehari-hari, begitupun dengan motivasi belajar peserta didik penting ditinjau dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian pengembangan modul termokimia bermuatan nilai religi ini dirancang untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar pendukung oleh guru dalam membentuk karakter amanah dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan validitas isi, validitas konstruk modul termokimia bermuatan nilai religi, (2) mendeskripsikan kepraktisan modul termokimia bermuatan nilai religi dalam meningkatkan karakter amanah dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, (3) mendeskripsikan keefektifan modul termokimia bermuatan nilai religi dalam pengaplikasian di kelas serta (4) mendeskripsikan pengaruh modul terhadap peningkatan karakter amanah dan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode research and development (R&D) dan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Desseminate). Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling dan acak sederhana. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 yang terdiri dari 5 siswa laki-laki dan 28 siswa perempuan serta 10 siswa kelas XII IPA 1 sebagai uji coba produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi standar kelayakan yang meliputi validitas isi sebesar 97,62% kategori sangat valid dan persentase konstruk sebesar 91,67% kategori sangat valid, dengan rerata keseluruhan dari kedua validitas sebesar 94,64% kategori sangat valid, kepraktisan modul dihasilkan dari tanggapan peserta didik sebesar 85,94% kategori valid, atau digunakan tanpa revisi dan tanggapan guru sebesar 86,25% kategori valid, atau digunakan tanpa revisi serta keefektifan modul terhadap peningkatan karakter amanah rerata persentase sebesar 78,92% dengan kategori baik (mulai berkembang) dan rerata persentase motivasi belajar sebesar 82,31% dengan kategori cukup serta rerata skor N-Gain sebesar 0,56 dan 0,64 dengan persentase skor N-Gain sebesar 56,16% dan 63,53 % dengan tafsiran cukup efektif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul termokimia bermuatan nilai religi dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran kimia.

The character of trust is the main character that must be imprinted in the human soul to be applied in daily routines, as well the learning motivation of students is important in the learning process. This research on the development of a thermochemistry module containing religious values is designed to be used as supporting teaching materials by teachers in forming trustful characters and increasing students' learning motivation. The purposes of this study are (1) to describe the content validity, construct validity of the thermochemistry module containing religious values, (2) to describe the practicality of the thermochemistry module containing religious values in improving the character of trust and learning motivation of students, (3) to describe the effectiveness of the thermochemistry module containing religious values in application in the classroom and (4) describe the effect of the module on improving the character of trust and learning motivation of students. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative approach with research and development (R&D) methods and uses a 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Desseminate). The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and simple random sampling. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPA 1 which consisted of 5 male students and 28 female students and 10 students of class XII IPA 1 as product trials. The results showed that the developed module had met the eligibility standards which included content validity of 97.62% very valid category and construct percentage of 91.67% very valid category, with an overall average of both validity of 94.64% very valid category, the practicality of the module resulted from student responses of 85.94% valid category, or used without revision and teacher's response of 86.25% valid category, or used without revision and the effectiveness of the module on increasing the trustworthiness of the average percentage of 78.92% with the category good (starting to develop) and the average percentage of learning motivation is 82.31% with sufficient category and the average N-Gain score is 0.56 and 0.64 with the percentage n-gain score is 56.16% and 63.53% with interpretation effective enough. So it can be concluded that the thermochemistry module containing religious values can be used in the chemistry learning process. Keywords: module, thermochemistry, trust, motivation, character
