Tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran matematika dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai KKM. Namun, pada kenyatannya masih banyak siswa yang nilai hasil belajar matematikanya belum mencapai nilai KKM. Hal ini disebabkan karena pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan menggunakan metode yang monoton di ruang kelas sehingga terkesan membosankan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penerapan pembelajaran yang menarik sehingga pembelajaran tidak bosan. Salah satunya, dengan menerapakan metode Outdoor Learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII di SMPN 8 Satu Atap Cekal melalui penerapan metode Outdoor Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantatitaf dengan desain pre-experimental design dan menggunakan jenis penelitian one-group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Satu Atap Cekal dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh, sehingga sampel penelitian sebanyak 24 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pretest sebelum penerapan metode Outdoor Learning dan posttest setelah penerapan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata antara sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode Outdoor Learning . Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Outdoor Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMPN 8 Satu Atap Cekal.

The achievement of the learning objectives of mathematics can be seen from the learning outcomes of students who reach the KKM. However, in reality there are still many students whose mathematics learning outcomes have not reached the KKM score. This is because the learning is carried out using a monotonous method in the classroom so that it seems boring. Therefore, it is necessary to apply interesting learning so that learning is not bored. One of them, by applying the method of Outdoor Learning. The purpose of this study was to see an increase in the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMPN 8 Satu Atap Cekal through the application of the Outdoor Learning method. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and uses a one-group pretest-posttest type of research. The research population was all seventh grade students of SMPN 8 Satu Atap Cekal with the sampling technique using nonprobability sampling technique with the determination of the sample using saturated sampling, so the research sample was 24 students. The data collection technique used a pretest before the implementation of the Outdoor Learning method and a posttest after the implementation. The data analysis technique used paired sample t-test. The results of data analysis showed that there was an average increase between before and after the Outdoor Learning method was applied. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Outdoor Learning method can improve student learning outcomes at SMPN 8 Satu Atap Cekal.
