Pembelajaran praktikum selama masa pandemi Covid-19 dilakukan secara daring. Perubahan cara belajar praktikum yang biasanya luring ke daring menjadi permasalahan yang harus dihadapi baik bagi dosen maupun mahasiswa. Permasalahan ini dapat diatasi dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi untuk menunjang praktikum agar tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan laboratorium virtual berbasis Augmented Reality pada praktikum korosi sebagai alternatif praktikum di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian dilakukan melalui jenis Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) yang melibatkan 22 mahasiswa aktif jurusan Pendidikan Kimia angkatan 2021 yang mengikuti mata kuliah praktikum kimia dasar yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket kebutuhan mahasiswa, lembar validasi, angket tanggapan mahasiswa, dan angket system usability scale (SUS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan media laboratorium virtual berbasis Augmented Reality yang divalidasi oleh dua validator memiliki presentase rata-rata sebesar 92,83% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. Hasil analisis kebutuhan mahasiswa diperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 81,09%. Hasil tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pengembangan media laboratorium virtual berbasis Augmented Reality diperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 91,21% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil tanggapan mahasiswa berdasarkan System Usability Scale (SUS) terhadap pengembangan media laboratorium virtual berbasis Augmented Reality diperoleh presentase rata-rata sebesar 81,16% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media laboratorium virtual berbasis Augmented Reality yang dikembangkan layak digunakan pada praktium korosi.
Abstract The practical study session during the covid 19 pandemic was mostly done through online media. The shift from the usual offline practical study session to the online's one had resulted in many unfamiliar and changed situation both for the lecturers and the students. One of the solution offered to resolve this issue is by using technological advancement. Based on this, researchers conducted a study that aimed to develop and test the feasibility of a virtual laboratory based Augmented Reality in corrosion practical and to find out student responses about virtual laboratory based Augmented Reality in corrosion practical. The research was done through Research and Development (R&D) by following ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The sample in this study amounted to 22 students from Chemistry Education batch 2021 who took the Basic Chemistry Practical course. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The research data was obtained by giving the questionnaire about the students needs, validation sheets, students’ response questionnaires, and system usability scale (SUS) questionnaires. The results showed that the feasibility of Augmented Reality which was validated by two validators had an average percentage of 92.83% with a very feasible category for use. The results of the analysis of the students needs obtained an average percentage of 81.09%. The results of students responses to the development of virtual laboratory media based on Augmented Reality obtained an average percentage of 91.21% with very good criteria. The results of students response based on the System Usability Scale (SUS) to the development of virtual laboratory media based on Augmented Reality obtained an average percentage of 81.16% with acceptable criteria. Based virtual laboratory media that Augmented Reality was developed suitable for use in corrosion practical. The whole research show that virtual laboratory based Augmented Reality is feasible to be used on the corrosion practical study.
