Media PhET (Physics Education and Technology) merupakan media yang meyediakan berbagai jenis simulasi materi sains dan salah satunya materi fisika. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pada mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FKIP USK angkatan 2020 bahwa penggunaan media PhET pada mata kuliah praktikum fisika dasar I menimbulkan berbagai persepsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan mata kuliah praktikum fisika dasar I menggunakan media PhET. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan fisika FKIP USK angkatan 2020 sebanyak 60 mahasiswa. Pendekatan dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket melalui Google Form dan dokumentasi nilai akhir mata kuliah praktikum fisika dasar I. Analisis data yang digunakan merupakan analisis data Likert Summeted Rating untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kemudahan menggunakan PhET, ketertarikan terhadap PhET, pemahaman materi dengan PhET dan kesesuaian PhET dengan materi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa ditinjau dari aspek kemudahan menggunakan PhET adalah mudah dengan perolehan nilai 1819,ditinjau dari aspek ketertarikan terhadap PhET adalah tertarik dengan perolehan nilai 1218, ditinjau dari aspek pemahaman materi dengan PhET adalah paham dengan perolehan nilai 965 dan ditinjau dari aspek kesesuaian PhET dengan materi dengan perolehan nilai 767.

PhET (Physics Education and Technology) media is a medium that provides various types of simulations of science material and one of them is physics material. Based on the results of initial observations on FKIP USK physics education students batch 2020 that the use of PhET media in the basic physics practicum course I gave rise to various perceptions. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the implementation of the basic physics practicum course I using PhET media. The sample in this study was 60 students majoring in physics education at USK FKIP batch 2020. The approach and type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form and documenting the final grades for the basic physics practicum course I. The data analysis used was Likert Summeted Rating data analysis to determine student perceptions of the ease of using PhET, interest in PhET, understanding of material with PhET and the suitability of PhET to the material. The results showed that students' perceptions in terms of the ease of using PhET were easy with a score of 1819, from the aspect of interest in PhET were interested in obtaining a score of 1218, in terms of the aspect of understanding the material with PhET were understanding with the acquisition of a score of 965 and in terms of suitability aspects PhET with material with a value gain of 767.
