Perawat yang bekerja di IGD dituntut harus mampu melakukan intervensi yang cepat dan tepat, namun beberapa kondisi seperti peningkatan jumlah pasien, kondisi pasien yang berbeda-beda, masalah ekonomi, dan keterlambatan pendapatan penghasilan. Perawat juga mengatakan bahwa sering merasa kelelahan karena tindakan atau kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilakukan di IGD harus dilakukan dengan cepat dan tepat sehingga hal tersebut juga dapat meningkatkan beban kerja mental dan stres kerja pada perawat di IGD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja mental terhadap stres kerja pada perawat di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Pemerintah Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang bekerja di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Pemerintah Aceh yaitu sebanyak 50 orang. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan analisis univaiat mayoritas dari 50 perawat memiliki beban kerja mental dengan kategori kategori berat sebesar 30 perawat (56%) dan tingkat stres dengan kategori sedang sebesar 28 perawat (56%). Hasil penelitian dengan analisis binivaiat terhadap hubungan beban kerja mental terhadap stres kerja didapatkan p-value 0,005 (

Nurses working in the emergency room are required to be able to intervene quickly and appropriately, but there are several conditions such as an increase in the number of patients, patients with different diseases and conditions, economic problems, and delays in income income. Nurses also said that they often feel tired because the actions or activities carried out in the ER must be done quickly and precisely so that it can also increase the mental workload and work stress on nurses in the ER. This study aims to determine the relationship between mental workload and work stress on nurses in the Emergency Room (IGD) of the Aceh Government Hospital. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive correlative method with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all nurses who worked in the Emergency Installation (IGD) of the Aceh Government Hospital, as many as 50 people. Analysis of the data used is univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. Based on the results of research with univariate analysis, the majority of 50 nurses have a mental workload with a heavy category category of 30 nurses (56%) and a stress level with a moderate category of 28 nurses (56%).
