ABSTRAK

Seiring pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mengakibatkan jumlah situs berita online yang menyajikan informasi berita terus bertambah. Hal ini mengakibatkan pengguna internet kesulitan untuk mencari informasi berita yang populer dari situs berita online. Informasi yang sering dicari dari berita adalah topik yang sedang populer pada periode tertentu. Salah satu cara untuk mendapatkan topik berita yang sedang populer secara otomatis adalah dengan membangun suatu algoritma yang dapat mengekstrak kata-kata pada berita tersebut menjadi sebuah topik, serta suatu model pembobotan yang dapat menentukan apakah topik berita tersebut merupakan topik berita terpopuler. Pembobotan dilakukan dengan formula tertentu sehingga dapat menghasilkan bobot topik terbaik. Selanjutnya topik-topik populer yang didapat dikumpulkan dan disimpan sehingga dapat memberikan informasi tentang topik terpopuler pada situs berita online.

ABSTRACT


As the information and communication technologies develop rapidly have resulted in the number of online news sites that provide news information continues to grow. It causes the internet users are difficult to search for popular information from online news site. The information which is often sought from the news is popular topics at a certain period. One of the ways to get the popular news automatically is by constructing an algorithm that can extract the words in the news into a topic, and also a weighting model that can determine whether the news topics are most popular ones. Weighting is conducted with a certain formula that can produce the most wanted topic. Furthermore, popular topics obtained are collected and saved until they provide information about the most popular topics on the online news site.
