Rice transplanter merupakan mesin penanam padi yang mampu mempercepat proses tanam, mengurangi kebutuhan tenaga kerja, dan meningkatkan efisiensi biaya produksi. Di sisi lain, penggunaan mesin ini juga berpotensi mengurangi kesempatan kerja buruh tani, khususnya buruh tani perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbandingan pendapatan usahatani antara petani pengguna dan non-pengguna rice transplanter, serta mendeskripsikan transformasi tenaga kerja buruh tani di Kecamatan Indrapuri, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan mix methods. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis pendapatan dan Independent Sample T-Test, sedangkan data kualitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lima desa dengan sampel 80 petani (40 petani pengguna dan 40 petani non-pengguna rice transplanter) menggunakan disproportionate stratified sampling, serta 25 buruh tani perempuan sebagai informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata biaya produksi petani pengguna rice transplanter sebesar Rp 21.302.295/ha/MT, lebih rendah dibandingkan petani non-pengguna sebesar Rp 22.904.180/ha/MT. Rata-rata penerimaan petani pengguna sebesar Rp 36.047.248/ha/MT, lebih tinggi dibandingkan petani non-pengguna sebesar Rp 33.986.242/ha/musim tanam. Dengan demikian, rata-rata pendapatan bersih petani pengguna mencapai Rp 14.744.953/ha/MT, lebih tinggi dibandingkan petani non-pengguna sebesar Rp 11.082.062/ha/MT, dengan selisih sebesar Rp 3.662.891/ha/MT. A rice transplanter is a machine capable of accelerating the planting process, reducing labor requirements, and improving production cost efficiency. Conversely, the use of this machine also has the potential to reduce employment opportunities for farm laborers, particularly women. This study aims to analyze the difference in farming income between farmers who use rice transplanters and those who do not, as well as to describe the transformation of farm labor in Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency. A mixed-methods approach was employed. Quantitative data were analyzed using income analysis and an Independent Sample T-Test, while qualitative data were analyzed descriptively. The study was conducted in five villages with a sample of 80 farmers (40 users and 40 non-users of rice transplanters) selected via disproportionate stratified sampling, along with 25 female farm laborers serving as informants selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate that the average production cost for rice transplanter users was IDR 21,302,295/ha/planting season, which was lower than that of non-users (IDR 22,904,180/ha/planting season). The average revenue for users was IDR 36,047,248/ha/planting season, higher than that of non-users (IDR 33,986,242/ha/planting season).
