Hingga saat ini, kemampuan spasial siswa pada materi rotasi masih menjadi salah satu permasalahan dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMA. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan spasial siswa adalah model Discovery learning berbantuan aplikasi Geo Math. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan spasial siswa pada materi rotasi yang diajarkan melalui model Discovery learning berbantuan aplikasi Geo Math dan model Discovery learning tanpa bantuan aplikasi Geo Math. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain Posttest-Only with Nonequivalent Groups Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelompok siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan model Discovery learning berbantuan aplikasi Geo Math dan model Discovery learning tanpa bantuan aplikasi Geo Math. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes kemampuan spasial. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa thitung>ttabel, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, kemampuan spasial siswa yang diajarkan melalui model Discovery learning berbantuan aplikasi Geo Math lebih baik daripada kemampuan spasial siswa yang diajarkan melalui model Discovery learning tanpa bantuan aplikasi Geo Math pada materi rotasi.

Undergraduate Thesis. Syiah Kuala University. Supervised by Dra. Bintang Zaura, M.Pd. and Prof. Dr. M. Ikhsan, M.Pd. Students' spatial ability in the topic of rotation remains one of the challenges in mathematics learning at the senior high school level. One learning model that can be used to help improve students' spatial ability is the Discovery learning model assisted by the Geo Math application. This study aimed to determine the difference in students' spatial ability on the topic of rotation between those taught through the Discovery learning model assisted by the Geo Math application and those taught through the Discovery learning model without the assistance of the Geo Math application. This study employed a quasi-experimental method using a Posttest-Only with Nonequivalent Groups Design. The research sample consisted of two groups of students who received instruction through the Discovery learning model assisted by the Geo Math application and the Discovery learning model without the assistance of the Geo Math application. Data were collected using a spatial ability test. The data were analyzed using prerequisite tests followed by an independent samples t-test. The results showed that tcalculated > ttable, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the spatial ability of students taught through the Discovery learning model assisted by the Geo Math application was better than that of students taught through the Discovery learning model without the assistance of the Geo Math application on the topic of rotation.
