Berdasarkan pengamatan di PAUD Raudhatul Quddus Aceh Besar, ditemukan bahwa masih terdapat karakter tanggung jawab anak yang masih rendah ditandai 8 dari 10 anak yang belum memiliki sikap tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan karakter tanggung jawab anak melalui metode bermain peran di PAUD Raudhatul Quddus Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami perubahan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus dimana setiap siklus mencakup 4 kegiatan yaitu : perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 10 orang anak. Penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil jika kemampuan tanggung jawab anak mencapai minimal 80 % pada setiap aspek yang diamati dan dinilai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan dalam karakter tanggung jawab anak yaitu dilakukan dengan cara guru memperkenalkan alat yang digunakan,guru menjelaskan fungsi alat permainan,guru menjelaskan kepada anak tentang tugas dokter dan polisi,guru menjelaskan alur dan cara bermain,guru mencontohkan cara bermain,guru mengelompokkan anak kedalam beberapa kelompok,guru mengajak anak melakukan untuk bermain peran.Peningkatan karakter tanggung jawab anak dapat dilihat dari siklus I ke siklus II.Setelah dilakukan tindakan sebanyak 2 siklus diperoleh kemampuan karakter tanggung jawab anak berkembang sesuai harapan yaitu bekerja sama dan menaati peraturan.

Under the supervision of Suhartati, S.Pd., M.Pd and Dina Amalia, S.Psi., M.Sc. Based on observations at PAUD Raudhatul Quddus Aceh Besar, it was found that there were still low levels of children's responsibility, marked by 8 out of 10 children who did not yet have a sense of responsibility. This study aims to improve children's responsibility through the role-playing method at PAUD Raudhatul Quddus Aceh Besar. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative descriptive approach. The qualitative approach is used to understand the changes that occur in the learning process. This study was conducted in 2 cycles where each cycle includes 4 activities, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 10 children. This study is said to be successful if the child's ability to take responsibility reaches at least a minimum of 80% in each aspect observed and assessed. The results of the study showed an increase in the character of children's responsibility, which was carried out by the teacher introducing the tools used, the teacher explaining the function of the game tools, the teacher explaining to the children about the duties of doctors and police, the teacher explaining the flow and how to play, the teacher exemplifying how to play, the teacher grouping children into several groups, the teacher inviting children to play roles. The increase in the character of children's responsibility can be seen from cycle I to cycle II. After carrying out 2 cycles of action, the ability of the children's character of responsibility developed according to expectations, namely working together and obeying the rules.
