Banyak faktor yang memengaruhi proses pembelajaran baik internal maupun eksternal salah satunya adalah minat belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang inovatif guna meningkatkan minat belajar siswa melalui penggunaan video blog channel youtube berbasis pendekatan science, technology, engineering dan mathematics (STEM) pada pembelajaran materi laju reaksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation (ADDIE). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket wawancara, penilaian kelayakan media, analisis kebutuhan peserta didik, serta tanggapan dari peserta didik dan guru. Jumlah responden terdiri dari 25 peserta didik dan 10 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai dari validator sebesar 94,18% dengan kriteria sangat layak, indeks Aiken’s sebesar 0,93 kriteria sangat tinggi, uji IRA dengan persentase 58 kategori sedang, kebutuhan peserta didik berada pada angka 80,4% kriteria sangat baik, tanggapan peserta didik 81,2% kriteria sangat baik dan respons guru 97% kriteria sangat baik sehingga sangat layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran kimia yang inovatif bagi peserta didik.

[Undergraduate Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Abdul Gani, M.Si., and Dr. Rahmad Rizki Fazli, S.Pd., M.Si. Many factors influence the learning process, both internal and external, one of which is learning interest. this study aims to develop innovative learning media to increase students' interest in learning through the use of youtube video blogs based on the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) approach in teaching reaction rate material. The research uses a research and development (R&D) approach with the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model. Data collection was carried out through interviews, media feasibility assessments, analysis of students’ needs, as well as responses from students and teachers. the number of respondents consisted of 25 students and 10 teachers. The results showed that the developed learning media received a score of 94.18% from validators categorized as highly feasible, the Aiken’s V index is 0.93 indicating a very high criterion, while the IRA test shows a percentage of 58 categorized as moderate, students' needs scored 80.4%, categorized as very good, student responses scored 81.2% also categorized as very good and teacher responses scored 97%, categorized as very good indicating that the media is highly suitable to be used as an innovative chemistry learning tool for students.
