Meningkatkan Pemahaman Membaca Siswa Menggunakan Online Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) (Suatu Studi Eksperimen pada Siswa Kelas X SMAN Unggul Tunas Bangsa, Aceh Barat Daya).[Skripsi Sarjana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki efektivitas Online Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) menggunakan Google Docs dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa, khususnya dalam mengidentifikasi ide pokok dan memahami kosakata pada teks deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN Unggul Tunas Bangsa, Aceh Barat Daya, dengan melibatkan 35 siswa kelas X yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen one group pre-test dan post-test. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman membaca yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah penerapan Online Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) menggunakan Google Docs. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas, dan uji paired sample t-test melalui SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada pemahaman membaca siswa setelah perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 67,71 pada pre-test menjadi 82,71 pada post-test. Selain itu, hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa Online Collaborative Strategic Reading menggunakan Google Docs memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan secara statistik terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Online Collaborative Strategic Reading yang terintegrasi dengan Google Docs efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Oleh karena itu, strategi ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pendekatan dalam pengajaran pemahaman membaca di kelas EFL.

Improving Students’ Reading Comprehension Using Online Collaborative Strategies Reading (CSR) (An Experimental Study at the Tenth Grade Students of SMAN Unggul Tunas Bangsa, Southwest Aceh). [Undergraduate Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Under the supervision of Dr. Dian Fajrina, S.Pd., M.Ed. and Nurul Inayah, S.Pd., M.TESOL. This study aimed to investigate effectiveness of Online Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) using Google Docs in improving students’ reading comprehension, particularly in identifying main ideas and understanding vocabulary in descriptive texts. The study was conducted at SMAN Unggul Tunas Bangsa, Southwest Aceh, involving 35 tenth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. This research employed a quantitative approach using a one group pre-test and post-test experimental design. The data were collected through reading comprehension tests administered before and after the implementation of Online Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) using Google Docs. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, a normality test, and a paired sample t-test through SPSS. The results revealed a significant improvement in student’s reading comprehension after the treatment. The mean score increased from 67.71 in the pre-test to 82.71 in the post-test. Furthermore, the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.5), indicating that Online Collaborative Strategic Reading using Google Docs had a significance value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating that Online CSR using Google had a statistically significant effect on students reading comprehension. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Online Collaborative Strategic Reading integrated with Google Docs if effective in enhancing students reading comprehension at the senior high school level. Therefore, this strategy is recommended as an alternative approach for teaching reading comprehension in EFL classroom.
