Peneitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Untuk mengetahui rata-rata nilai raport mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII-2 di SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. (2) Untuk mengetahui rata-rata nilai raport mata pelajaran PKN siswa kelas VIII-2 di SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. (3) Untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara nilai raport mata pelajaran IPS dan PKN siswa kelas VIII-2 di SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Adapun yang menjadi populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 4 kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-2 yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada peneitian ini yaitu dokumentasi. Pada Teknik analisis data menggunkan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitin yang dilakukan diketahui bahwa (1) Nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran IPS sebesar 78,71 dengan kategori baik menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPS sebagian besar siswa sudah mampu memahami dan menguasai materi. (2) Nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran PKn sebesar 83,96 dengan kategori sangat baik dengan distribusi data sedikit condong kearah nilai rendah akibat adanya outlier. (3) Terdapat perbedaan nilai rapor IPS dan PKn di SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam yaitu melalui Uji normalitas bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah data nilai dari kedua mata pelajaran berdistribusi normal, sedangkan uji homogenitas digunakan untuk melihat apakah varians dari kedua data tersebut sama atau tidak. Setelah kedua uji tersebut terpenuhi, dilakukan uji hipotesis untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran IPS dan PKn.

This study aims to (1) To determine the average grades of the social studies subject report cards of class VIII-2 students at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. (2) To determine the average grades of the civics subject report cards of class VIII-2 students at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. (3) To determine the differences between the grades of the social studies and civics subject report cards of class VIII-2 students at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The population of this study is all class VIII students totaling 4 classes. The sample in this study is class VIII-2 students totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques in this study are documentation. The data analysis technique uses normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. Based on the research results, it was found that (1) The average score for Social Studies was 78.71, categorized as good, indicating that most students were able to understand and master the material. (2) The average score for Civics was 83.96, categorized as very good, with the data distribution slightly skewed towards low scores due to outliers. (3) There was a difference in the Social Studies and Civics report card scores at SMP Negeri 1 Baitussalam. The normality test aimed to determine whether the grade data for both subjects were normally distributed, while the homogeneity test was used to determine whether the variances of the two data sets were equal. After both tests were met, a hypothesis test was conducted to determine whether there was a significant difference between the average scores for Social Studies and Civics.
