Dimensi sosial memiliki nilai terendah (34,82). This research evaluates the sustainability status of lowland rice farming and identifies the most influential attributes affecting its sustainability in Indrapuri Subdistrict, Aceh Besar Regency, Indonesia. The study area was purposively selected as Indrapuri serves as one of the region’s primary rice production centers. The research population consisted of 3,538 active lowland rice farmers, from which a sample of 100 respondents was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% margin of error. Data were collected through structured questionnaires, indepth interviews, and field observations, and subsequently analyzed using the Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) method with the RAPFISH approach. The analysis revealed that the overall sustainability status of lowland rice farming in the study area is moderately sustainable, with a multidimensional index score of 50.71. Among the five assessed dimensions, the economic dimension obtained the highest score (59.15), followed by institutional (55.78) and ecological (53.88) dimensions. The technological dimension (49.94) was close to the moderately sustainable threshold, while the social dimension recorded the lowest score (34.82). Leverage analysis identified key sensitive attributes for each dimension: fertilizer and pesticide use (ecological), income and initial capital (economic), conflict occurrence and farmers’ motivation (social), technology mastery and communication facilities (technological), and the presence of financial institutions along with partnership cooperation (institutional). The findings highlight the economic dimension as the most dominant factor in ensuring the sustainability of lowland rice farming in the region. Keywords: sustainability, lowland rice farming, MDS, RAPFISH, sensitive attributes
