PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang pertambangan batubara. Perusahaan ini memproduksi dan mengolah batubara untuk dapat dijual kepada konsumen. Dalam proses pengolahan batubara perusahaan ini menggunakan double roll crusher untuk menghasilkan ukuran produk berukuran lumpy (70-90 mm). Pada periode Januari PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama gagal mencapai target produksi double roll crusher yang telah ditetapkan dikarenakan efektivitas kerja crusher yang rendah. Untuk periode Februari 2025 PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama telah menetapkan target produksi double roll crusher sebesar 40.665 ton selama 28 hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghitung jumlah produksi aktual alat crusher, menganalisis ketersediaan alat crusher, menganalisis parameter waktu hambatan dan mengoptimasi produksi crusher di Agrabudi Jasa Bersama periode Februari 2025. Kajian teknis dilakukan pada elemen yang mempengaruhi kegiatan produksi pada unit double roll crusher, sehingga diketahui waktu hambatan yang dapat dihindari agar target produksi yang direncanakan tercapai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa crusher hanya mampu memproduksi 26.038,23 ton (64%) dari target produksi crusher. Performa rangkaian alat crusher selama periode Februari 2025 dikategorikan buruk karena double roll crusher memiliki mechanical availability (MA) 31,9 %, physical availability (PA) 68,5 %, use of availability (UA) 21,5 %, dan effective utilization (EU) 14,74 %. Optimasi produksi dilakukan dengan cara perbaikan terhadap waktu hambatan pada saat kegiatan coal crushing, sehingga jam kerja efektif meningkat sebesar 316,05 jam. Jumlah produksi yang dicapai setelah dilakukan optimasi sebesar 116.267 ton, sehingga target produksi terpenuhi.

PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama is a company engaged in coal mining. The company produces and processes coal for sale to consumers. In its coal processing operations, the company uses a double roll crusher to produce lumpy-sized products (70–90 mm). During the January period, PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama failed to meet the double roll crusher's production target due to low crusher operational effectiveness. For the February 2025 period, PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama set a production target of 40,665 tons for the double roll crusher over 28 days. This study aims to calculate the actual production output of the crusher, analyze the crusher’s availability, examine downtime parameters, and optimize crusher production at PT Agrabudi Jasa Bersama during February 2025. A technical assessment was conducted on the factors affecting production activities in the double roll crusher unit, in order to identify avoidable downtimes and ensure that the planned production target can be achieved. The research results show that the crusher was only able to produce 26,038.23 tons (64%) of the target. The performance of the crusher system during February 2025 was categorized as poor, as the double roll crusher recorded a mechanical availability (MA) of 31.9%, physical availability (PA) of 68.5%, use of availability (UA) of 21.5%, and effective utilization (EU) of 14.74%. Production optimization was carried out by addressing downtime during coal crushing activities, resulting in an increase of 316.05 hours in effective working time. The total production achieved after optimization was 116,267 tons, successfully meeting the production target.
