Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji implementasi Komunikasi Sosial
(Komsos) TNI dengan mengukur pengaruh Komunikasi Sosial (Komsos) Langsung
dan Tidak Langsung terhadap Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan. Pada penelitian ini
variabel Respon Teritorial dan Loyalitas Teritorial sebagai variabel yang memediasi
hubungan antara Komunikasi Sosial Langsung dan Tidak Langsung terhadap
Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan, sedangkan variabel Interaksi Sosial sebagai variabel
moderasi yang akan memperkuat atau melemahkan hubungan antara Komunikasi
Sosial dan Respon Teritorial. Yang menjadi populasi responden dalam penelitian
ini adalah para Perwira dan Bintara Pembina Desa (Babinsa) yang berdinas di Satuan
Komando Kewilayaha (Satkowil) jajaran Komando Daerah Militer (Kodam)
Iskandar Muda dengan jumlah 4.634 responden, dengan penarikan sampel dengan
pendekatan sensus untuk para Perwira dan proporsional random sampling untuk
para Babinsa. Sebanyak 505 kuesioner disebar kepada 147 Perwira dan 358 Babinsa
di Jajaran Kodam Iskandar Muda. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif
dan verifikatif, dengan alat analisis Struktural Equation Modelling (SEM)
AMOS.24. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa analisa deskriptif Komunikasi
Langsung, Komsos Tidak Langsung, Respon Teritorial, Loyalitas Teritorial,
Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan dan Interaksi Sosial sudah baik. Dalam hubungan
secara langsung Komsos Langsung dan Komsos Tidak Langsung tidak berpengaruh
secara signifikan terhadap Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan. Selanjutnya, dalam
hubungan Komsos Langsung dan Komsos Tidak Langsung berpengaruh signifikan
positif terhadap Respon Teritorial dan Loyalitas Teritorial. Dalam hubungan secara
tidak langsung, tidak terdapat pengaruh mediasi Komsos Langsung maupun
Komsos Tidak Langsung terhadap Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan melalui Respon
Teritorial, tetapi terdapat pengaruh mediasi parsial Komsos Langsung dan Komsos
Tidak Langsung terhadap Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan melalui Respond dan
Loyalitas Teritorial. Dalam hubungan moderasi, terdapat pengaruh signifikan
positif Interaksi Sosial memperkuat Komsos Langsung dan Komsos Tidak langsung
terhadap Respon Teritorial. Originalitas penelitian adalah memasukan variabel
Kinerja Teritorial Berkelanjutan, Respon Teritorial dan Loyalitas Teritorial dan
Interaksi Sosial sebagai variabel baru dalam penilitian Komsos TNI.

The purpose of this study is to assess how the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) implement Social Communication (Komsos) by analyzing the effects of Direct and Indirect Social Communication on Sustainable Territorial Performance. The study introduces Territorial Response and Territorial Loyalty as mediating variables influencing the relationship between Direct and Indirect Social Communication and Sustainable Territorial Performance. Meanwhile, Social Interaction is examined as a moderating variable, determining the extent to which Social Communication impacts Territorial Response. The study’s respondents include Officers and Village Development NCOs (Babinsa) serving in the Territorial Command Units (Satkowil) under the Iskandar Muda Regional Military Command (Kodam), comprising 4,634 personnel. The sampling method combines a census approach for Officers and proportional random sampling for Babinsa. A total of 505 questionnaires were distributed—147 to Officers and 358 to Babinsa personnel. Descriptive and verification analyses were conducted using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with AMOS.24 as the analytical tool. The findings reveal that descriptive analyses of Direct Communication, Indirect Social Communication, Territorial Response, Territorial Loyalty, Sustainable Territorial Performance, and Social Interaction demonstrate favorable results. In direct relationships, neither Direct nor Indirect Social Communication significantly affects Sustainable Territorial Performance. However, both types of communication have a significant positive impact on Territorial Response and Territorial Loyalty. In indirect relationships, Direct and Indirect Social Communication show no mediating effect on Sustainable Territorial Performance through Territorial Response alone. However, there is a partial mediating effect when both Territorial Response and Territorial Loyalty are considered. Regarding moderation, Social Interaction significantly enhances the positive impact of Direct and Indirect Social Communication on Territorial Response. This study’s originality lies in the introduction of Sustainable Territorial Performance, Territorial Response, Territorial Loyalty, and Social Interaction as novel variables within the context of TNI's Social Communication research.
