ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh emotion regulation
terhadap empathic ability yang dimediasi oleh self-consistency congruence dan
emotional intelligence pada Guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Cot Girek.
Populasi dalam penilitian ini berjumlah 204 orang dengan sampel 135 responden.
Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah
probability sampling dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Analisis data
menggunakan Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HML) dengan Statistical Package
For The Social Sciences (SPSS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
Emotion Regulation berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Empathic Ability, serta
berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Self-Consistency Congruence dan Emotional
Intelligence. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil indirect effect ditemukan bahwa Self-
Consistency Congruence memediasi pengaruh Emotion Regulation terhadap
Empathic Ability. Dan Emotional Intelligence memediasi pengaruh Emotion
Regulation terhadap Empathic Ability.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of emotion regulation on empathic ability mediated by self-consistency congruence and emotional intelligence in elementary school teachers in Cot Girek District. The population in this study amounted to 204 people with a sample of 135 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was probability sampling with cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis using Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HML) with Statistical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of this study indicate that Emotion Regulation has a significant effect on Empathic Ability, and has a significant effect on Self-Consistency Congruence and Emotional Intelligence. Then based on the results of the indirect effect, it was found that Self- Consistency Congruence mediates the effect of Emotion Regulation on Empathic Ability. And Emotional Intelligence mediates the effect of Emotion Regulation on Empathic Ability. Keywords: Emotion Regulation, Empathic Ability, Self-Consistency Congruence, Emotional Intelligence
