Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru Bahasa Indonesia terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Kecamatan Montasik, Aceh Besar, mengidentifikasi faktor yang mempengaruhi terbentuknya persepsi guru Bahasa Indonesia terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Kecamatan Montasik, Aceh Besar, dan mendeskripsikan persepsi guru Bahasa Indonesia terhadap upaya yang guru lakukan dalam menghadapi tantangan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Kecamatan Montasik, Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 10 orang guru Bahasa Indonesia yang mengajar di SMP Kecamatan Montasik, Aceh Besar. Data penelitian ini berupa pernyataan, pendapat, atau tanggapan para guru Bahasa Indonesia terkait dengan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Kecamatan Montasik Aceh Besar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan malalui teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru Bahasa Indonesia terhadap penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka umumnya bersifat positif. Kurikulum ini dianggap membantu menyederhanakan materi pembelajaran, lebih relevan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, serta menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif dan menyenangkan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi guru meliputi pengalaman mengajar, pelatihan, fasilitas sekolah, dukungan dari sekolah dan dukungan rekan sejawat, serta akses terhadap sumber belajar seperti PMM. Persepsi guru terhadap upaya yang dilakukan dalam menghadapi tantangan penerapan kurikulum guru menunjukkan inisiatif dan semangat belajar, seperti mengikuti pelatihan, berdiskusi, dan kolaborasi, meskipun masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan akses internet dan sarana pendukung lainnya.

Syiah Kuala University]. Under the guidance of Drs. Mukhlis, M.Hum. and Dr. Drs. Denni Iskandar, M.Pd. This study aims to describe the perceptions of Indonesian language teachers towards the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Junior High Schools in Montasik District, Aceh Besar, identify factors that influence the formation of Indonesian language teachers' perceptions towards the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Junior High Schools in Montasik District, Aceh Besar, and describe the perceptions of Indonesian language teachers towards the efforts made by teachers in facing the challenges of implementing the Independent Curriculum at Junior High Schools in Montasik District, Aceh Besar. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were 10 Indonesian language teachers who teach at Junior High Schools in Montasik District, Aceh Besar. The data for this study are in the form of statements, opinions, or responses from Indonesian language teachers regarding the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at Junior High Schools in Montasik District, Aceh Besar. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the perception of Indonesian language teachers towards the implementation of the Independent Curriculum was generally positive. This curriculum is considered to help simplify learning materials, be more relevant and in accordance with students' needs, and create an active and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Factors that influence teacher perceptions include teaching experience, training, school facilities, support from the school and support from colleagues, and access to learning resources such as PMM. Teacher perceptions of the efforts made in facing the challenges of implementing the teacher curriculum show initiative and enthusiasm for learning, such as attending training, discussing, and collaborating, even though they still face obstacles such as limited internet access and other supporting facilities.
