Guru merupakan komponen utama yang langsung terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, kinerja yang dimiliki guru akan menentukan kualitas pendidikan. Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah adalah salah satu yang akan mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Pembinaan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah berupa supervisi akademik akan membantu guru dalam melakukan perencanaan, pelaksaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMPN 3 Ingin Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru di SMPN 3 Ingin Jaya yang berjumlah 32 orang. Dikarenakan jumlah populasi kurang dari 100, maka semua populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan terdiri dari angket dengan 44 item untuk variabel supervisi akademik dan 40 item untuk variabel kinerja guru. Untuk menguji pengaruh supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa data terdistribusi normal dengan nilai sebesar 0,136 (0,136 > 0,05), hubungan antar variabel bersifat linear dengan nilai signifikansi 0,322, dan tidak terjadinya heteroskedastisitas. Persamaan regresi yang diperoleh adalah Ŷ = 99,713 + 0,305X. Nilai signifikansi (p-value) sebesar 0,031 menunjukkan bahwa supervisi kepala sekolah berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,146 menunjukkan bahwa kontribusi supervisi terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 14,6%, sedangkan sisanya 85.4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut, maka terdapat pengaruh yang cukup antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di SMPN 3 ingin jaya.

Teachers are the main component directly involved in the classroom learning process, and their performance will determine the quality of education. The academic supervision carried out by the principal is one of the factors that can influence teacher’s performance. The guidance provided by the principal through academic supervision helps teachers in planning, implementing, and evaluating the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of principal academic supervision on teacher performance at SMPN 3 Ingin Jaya. The research utilizes a quantitative approach, incorporating an associative method. The population of this study comprised all teaching staff at SMPN 3 Ingin Jaya, with a total of 32 individuals. Given that the population is less than 100, all populations are used as research samples. The research instrument employed comprised a questionnaire with 44 items for the academic supervision variable and 40 items for the teacher performance variable. To examine the effect of principals' academic supervision on teachers' performance, the data obtained were analysed by simple regression analysis. The research results indicate that the data is normally distributed with a value of 0.136 (0.136 > 0.05), the relationship between the variables is linear with a significance value of 0.322, and there is no heteroscedasticity. The regression equation obtained is therefore represented by the following formula: Y = 99.713 + 0.305X. The results of the statistical analysis indicate that principal supervision has a significant effect on teacher performance, with a p-value of 0.031. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.146 indicates that the impact of supervision on teacher performance is 14.6%, with the residual 85.4% being attributable to other variables. The findings of these calculations indicate a significant correlation between the principal's academic supervision and teacher performance at SMPN 3 Ingin Jaya.
