Keberadaan laboratorium di sekolah merupakan hal yang harus mendapatkan
perhatian serius. Sarana dan prasarana dalam laboratorium harus memadai untuk
menunjang pembelajaran, dan merupakan salah satu komponen pendidikan yang
harus memenuhi Standar Nasional Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui kelengkapan laboratorium kimia pada aspek sarana prasarana di SMA
wilayah kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 5 Banda Aceh, SMAN
8 Banda Aceh dan SMAN 12 Banda Aceh dengan subjek penelitian Laboratorium
kimia. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar instrumen kelengkapan sarana
prasarana dan lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMAN 5
Banda Aceh memiliki persentase kelengkapan sebesar 75,83% dengan kategori
baik, diikuti oleh SMAN 8 Banda Aceh sebesar 70,12%, dan SMAN 12 Banda Aceh
sebesar 69,22%, yang juga berada dalam kategori baik. Meskipun secara
keseluruhan telah memenuhi standar Permendiknas No. 24 Tahun 2007, terdapat
beberapa kekurangan, terutama pada aspek perlengkapan lainnya di SMAN 12
Banda Aceh dan bahan habis pakai di SMAN 8 serta SMAN 12 Banda Aceh.
Kelengkapan prasarana laboratorium kimia di ketiga sekolah secara keseluruhan
telah memenuhi standar dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Intensitas penggunaan
laboratorium kimia bervariasi di antara ketiga sekolah. SMAN 5 Banda Aceh telah
mengoptimalkan penggunaan laboratorium dengan baik, sehingga kegiatan
praktikum dilaksanakan sesuai keharusan. Namun, di SMAN 8 dan SMAN 12
Banda Aceh, intensitas penggunaan laboratorium belum optimal akibat
keterbatasan alat dan bahan, yang sering menghambat pelaksanaan praktikum.

The existence of laboratories in schools is something that must receive serious attention. Facilities and infrastructure in the laboratory must be adequate to support learning, and is one of the educational components that must meet National Education Standards. This research aims to determine the completeness of chemistry laboratories in terms of infrastructure and facilities in high schools in the Banda Aceh city area. This research was conducted at SMAN 5 Banda Aceh, SMAN 8 Banda Aceh and SMAN 12 Banda Aceh with the research subject being a chemistry laboratory. The research instrument consists of an instrument sheet for completeness of infrastructure and an interview sheet. The research results show that SMAN 5 Banda Aceh has a completeness percentage of 75.83% in the good category, followed by SMAN 8 Banda Aceh at 70.12%, and SMAN 12 Banda Aceh at 69.22%, which is also in the good category. Although overall it has met the standards of Minister of National Education Regulation no. 24 of 2007, there are several deficiencies, especially in other aspects of equipment at SMAN 12 Banda Aceh and consumables at SMAN 8 and SMAN 12 Banda Aceh. The completeness of chemistry laboratory infrastructure in the three schools as a whole meets standards with a percentage of 100%. The intensity of chemistry laboratory use varied among the three schools. SMAN 5 Banda Aceh has optimized the use of laboratories well, so that practical activities are carried out as required. However, at SMAN 8 and SMAN 12 Banda Aceh, the intensity of laboratory use is not optimal due to limited equipment and materials, which often hinder the implementation of practicums.
