Game edukasi adalah game yang dirancang untuk merangsang pemikiran kritis, meningkatkan fokus, dan kemampuan problem solving. Penelitian ini membangun game edukasi bernama Class Rush yang berfokus pada penyelesaian program linier menggunakan algoritma North West Corner (NWC) dan Least Cost (LC). Game ini dirancang menggunakan Unity 3D, Visual Studio Code dan Canva. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode pretest-posttest control grup design yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Sebanyak 32 mahasiswa terlibat dalam pengujian ini, yang terbagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Analisis hasil pretest menunjukkan kemampuan awal kedua kelompok setara (t_hit= 0,77364, t_(α/,df)= 2,35956). Sedangkan analisis posttest menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok (t_hit = 2,4489, t_(α/,df)=2,3596). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game Class Rush efektif sebagai alternatif pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan problem solving mahasiswa dalam memahami algoritma NWC dan LC.

Educational games are games designed to stimulate critical thinking, enhance focus, and improve problem-solving skills. This study developed an educational game called Class Rush, focusing on solving linear programming problems using the North West Corner (NWC) and Least Cost (LC) algorithms. The game was designed using Unity 3D, Visual Studio Code, and Canva. Testing was conducted using a pretest-posttest control group design, analyzed with a t-test. A total of 32 students participated in this testing, divided into experimental and control groups. Pretest analysis results indicated that both groups had equivalent initial abilities (t_hit= 0.77364, t_(α/,df)= 2.35956). Meanwhile, posttest analysis showed a significant difference between the two groups (t_hit = 2.4489, t_(α/,df) = 2.3596). The results demonstrated that the Class Rush game is effective as an alternative learning tool to improve students' problem-solving skills in understanding the NWC and LC algorithms.
