Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan video animasi 3D yang
menggambarkan biografi singkat B.J. Habibie, tokoh penting dalam sejarah
Indonesia yang dikenal sebagai presiden ketiga dan ilmuwan terkemuka.
Menggunakan software Blender, animasi ini dirancang untuk menyajikan
perjalanan hidup Habibie secara komprehensif dan menarik, terutama bagi
generasi muda yang mungkin kurang familiar dengan kontribusinya. Proses
produksi mencakup beberapa tahap, termasuk storyboard, modeling, animasi, dan
rendering, menghasilkan video berdurasi 2 menit 3 detik dengan format mp4 dan
kecepatan 24 fps. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi teknologi
animasi 3D, suara, dan musik latar dapat menciptakan pengalaman edukatif yang
menyenangkan dan interaktif bagi penonton. Penelitian ini juga menekankan
pentingnya perangkat komputer dengan spesifikasi tinggi untuk menghindari
masalah teknis yang dapat mengganggu proses produksi. Dengan demikian,
animasi ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media edukasi, tetapi juga sebagai
contoh inovatif dalam memperkenalkan tokoh sejarah kepada generasi muda.

This research focuses on developing a 3D animation video that depicts a brief biography of B.J. Habibie, an important figure in Indonesian history known as the third president and a prominent scientist. Utilizing Blender software, this animation is designed to present Habibie's life journey comprehensively and engagingly, especially for younger generations who may be less familiar with his contributions. The production process includes several stages, such as storyboard, modeling, animation, and rendering, resulting in a 2-minute 3 second video in mp4 format and at a frame rate of 24 fps. The findings indicate that the combination of 3D animation technology, sound, and background music can create an enjoyable and interactive educational experience for viewers. This research also emphasizes the importance of using high-spec computer equipment to avoid technical issues that may disrupt the production process. Therefore, this animation serves not only as an educational medium but also as an innovative example of introducing historical figures to the younger generation.
