Berbicara adalah kegiatan oleh manusia untuk mengekspresikan pikiran dan pendapat mereka dan untuk bertukar informasi dengan menggunakan ucapan dalam komunikasi. Dalam keterampilan berbicara di sana ada lima aspek, pelafalan, intonasi, kelancaran, keakuratan, dan kosakata. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua aspek dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara, yaitu pelafalan dan kosakata. Pelafalan itu memperhatikan tiga bagian, ada tekanan, intonasi, dan bunyi bahasa inggris. Kosakata dengan memperhatikan kata benda dan kata kerja (kata kerja aksi, kata sifat, dan konotasi). Riset ini bertujuan untuk melihat hasil penggunaan strategi belajar tindakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah sampling acak dan seluruh penduduk kelas 11 di SMA 8 Banda Aceh dengan total 8 kelas. Sampel ini adalah kelas XI dengan total 32 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pra-test dan pasca-test untuk mengumpulkan data. Dalam mengolah data, untuk mengetahui bahwa data itu biasanya didistribusikan, sang peneliti menggunakan tes normalitas dan untuk menentukan apakah data itu berterima (Ha), sang peneliti menggunakan tes hipotesis untuk memvalidasi data itu. Dari hasil bab empat dapat dilihat bahwa data meja normal biasanya didistribusikan skor t-table adalah 19.480 > 1.695. Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, yang berarti bahwa penggunaan strategi pembelajaran tindakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa sangat efektif diimplementasikan di SMA 8 Banda Aceh.

Abstract Speaking is an activity by human beings to express their thoughts and opinions and to exchange information by using utterances in communication. In speaking skills there five aspects, they are pronunciation, intonation, fluency, accuracy and vocabulary. This study focuses on two aspects in improving speaking skills, there are pronunciation and vocabulary. The pronunciation pays attention to three parts, there are word stress, intonation, and sound of English. Vocabulary by paying attention to noun and word choise (action verb, adjectives, and conjunction). This research aims to see the results of using Action Learning strategies in improving speaking skills. The sample used in this study is random sampling and the population is all 11th grade students at SMA 8 Banda Aceh with a total of 8 classes. The sample is class XI with a total of 32 students. This research uses pre-test and post-test for data collection. In processing the data, to find out that the data is normally distributed, the researcher uses a normality tests and to finf out whether the data is acceptable (Ha), the researcher uses a hypothesis test to validate it. From the results of chapter four it can be seen that the normality table data is normally distributed the t-table score is 19.480 > 1.695. Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the use of Action Learning strategies in improving students' speaking skills is very effectively implemented at SMA 8 Banda Aceh.
