Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah penggunaan metode “Find Someone Who” dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan jenis desain pra-eksperimental one group pretest and posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas tiga MAN 3 Aceh Besar dari kelas XII MIA 3. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti memberikan serangkaian tes yang dibagi menjadi dua yaitu pretest dan posttest. Teks prosedur digunakan sebagai materi pada bagian perlakuan saat menerapkan metode “Find Someone Who”. Siswa diminta untuk menjawab secara lisan, dan peneliti menilai kemampuan berbicara mereka menggunakan rubrik penilaian berbicara. Nilai rata-rata adalah 44,04, dikategorikan "cukup", menjadi 60,22 yang dikategorikan "baik" setelah penerapan metode "Find Someone Who". Meskipun nilai rata-rata posttest tidak memenuhi KKM yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah yaitu 75, peningkatannya terlihat jelas, dengan nilai posttest tertinggi yaitu 95. Dari hasil nilai t-test sebesar 32,08, yang lebih tinggi dari nilai t-tabel kritis sebesar 2,018 pada tingkat signifikansi 5%, menyebabkan penolakan hipotesis nol (Ho) dan penerimaan hipotesis alternatif (Ha). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa setelah menerapkan metode "Find Someone Who".

The purpose of this study is to examine whether or not the use of “Find Someone Who” method can improve students’ speaking skill. The quantitative method was employed in this study with a pre-experimental design type of one group pretest and posttest design. The sample of the study is 22 third grade students of MAN 3 Aceh Besar from class XII MIA 3. To collect the data, the researcher gave a set of tests which divided into two the pretest and the posttest. The procedure text was utilized as materials on the treatment section when implementing “Find Someone Who” method. The students were asked to respond orally, and the researcher assessed their speaking abilities using a speaking scoring rubric. The mean score was 44.04, categorized as “fair”, it become to 60.22 which categorized as “good” after the implementation of the “Find Someone Who” method. Although the posttest mean score did not meet the KKM decided by the school of 75, the improvement was evident, is the highest posttest score is 95. From the results of the t-test value of 32.08, which is higher than the critical t-table value of 2.018 at a 5% significance level, led to the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). It can be concluded that there is an improvement on students' speaking skill after implementing the "Find Someone Who" method. Keywords: Find Someone Who method, Procedure Text, Speaking skill.
