ABSTRAK
Aceh Besar merupakan kabupaten yang mengelilingi wilayah Ibukota Provinsi Aceh, yaitu Kota Banda Aceh. Dalam publikasi Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), penduduk di Kabupaten Aceh Besar tahun 2022 sebanyak 205.473 jiwa. Salah satu konsep matematika yang dapat digunakan untuk mengamati perubahan populasi adalah model matriks Leslie. Model ini menjelaskan pertumbuhan pada populasi perempuan. Faktor-faktor yang digunakan dalam perhitungan menggunakan matriks Leslie adalah tingkat kesuburan perempuan dan tingkat ketahanan hidup perempuan. Matriks Leslie adalah suatu matriks merupakan metode yang bertujuan untuk memprediksi jumlah dan laju pertumbuhan pada populasi manusia atau hewan. Dalam model ini perempuan (manusia) atau betina (hewan) dibagi menjadi kelas-kelas umur dalam durasi waktu yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi jumlah dan laju pertumbuhan penduduk perempuan di Kabupaten Aceh Besar tahun 2023-2027. Dalam pencarian hasil dengan matriks Leslie digunakan nilai tingkat kesuburan populasi dan nilai tingkat ketahanan hidup populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penduduk perempuan di Kabupaten Aceh Besar tahun 2023 sebanyak 199.288 jiwa, tahun 2024 sebanyak 193.457jiwa, tahun 2025 sebanyak 186.965 jiwa, tahun 2026 sebanyak 180.974 jiwa, dan tahun 2027 sebanyak 174.535 jiwa. Dari jumlah penduduk perempuan tahun 2023-2027 dapat dilihat bahwa laju pertumbuhan penduduk perempuan di Kabupaten Aceh Besar mengalami penurunan.

One of the mathematical concept that can be used to observe population changes is the Leslie matrix model. This model explains the growth in the female population. The factors used in the calculation using the Leslie matrix are the female fertility rate and the female survival rate. The Leslie matrix is a matrix that aims to estimate the number and rate of growth in human or animal populations. In this model females (humans) or females (animals) are divided into age classes in the same duration of time. This study aims to estimate the number and growth rate of the female population in Aceh Besar District in 2023-2027. In the search for results with the Leslie matrix, the value of the fertility rate of the population and the value of the survival rate of the population are used. The results showed that the number of female population in Aceh Besar Regency in 2023 was 199.288 people, in 2024 there will be 193.457 people, in 2025 there will be 186.965 people, in 2026 there will be 180.974 people, and in 2027 there will be 174.535 people. From the number of female population in 2023-2027, it can be seen that the growth rate of the female population in Aceh Besar Regency has decreased.
