Abstrak
Balqia (2024): Analisis Buku Pelajaran Bahasa Inggris Berjudul My Next Words Buku Siswa Kelas 2 Sekolah Dasar. [Tesis Sarjana. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Di bawah bimbingan Prof. Yunisrina Qismullah Yusuf., S.Pd., M. Ling dan Dr. Dohra Fitria., S.Pd., M. Ed
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis buku teks yang berjudul “An Analysis of English Textbook Titled My Next Words Grade 2 Student’s Book for Elementary School”. Kualitatif diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dokumentasi, yaitu buku ajar itu sendiri. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rubrik Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BNSP). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku teks tersebut kompatibel dengan empat rubrik BNSP. Dari analisis data, data yang diperoleh peneliti untuk setiap rubrik berbeda-beda. Untuk kelayakan konten diperoleh 92% dan kriterianya “baik”. Untuk kelayakan penyajian diperoleh 96% dan kriterianya “baik”. Dari segi kelayakan bahasa diperoleh 72% dan persyaratannya “cukup”. Terakhir adalah kelayakan grafis, hanya 50% dan kriteria “cukup”. Persentase rata-rata untuk seluruh aspek adalah 77%, dan kriteria “cukup”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar ini layak digunakan untuk siswa SD kelas 2. Disarankan agar buku ini dikembangkan lebih lanjut karena saat ini masih “cukup”. Pengembangannya bisa lebih seperti buku teks untuk digunakan di masa depan.

Abstract Balqia (2024): An Analysis of English Textbook Entitled My Next Words Grade 2 Student’s Book for Elementary School. [Undergraduate Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Under Supervision of Prof. Dr. Yunisrina Qismullah Yusuf., S. Pd., M. Ling and Dr. Dohra Fitria., S.Pd., M. Ed This research aims to analyze the textbook entitled “An Analysis of English Textbook Entitled My Next Words Grade 2 Student’s Book for Elementary School”. The qualitative was applied to this research. The data was collected by using documentation, which was the textbook itself. Data analysis was done using Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BNSP) rubrics. This research showed that the textbook is compatible with the four rubrics of BNSP. From the data analysis, the data obtained by the researcher for each rubric is different. For content feasibility, 92% was obtained, and the criteria for this was “good.” For presentation feasibility, 96% was obtained, and the criteria for this was “good.” In language feasibility, 72% was obtained, and the requirements are “fair”. The last is graphic feasibility, at only 50%, and the criteria are “sufficient.” The average percentage for all of the aspect is 77%, and the criteria are “fair.” The result of this research shows that the textbook is suitable for elementary school students in grade 2. It is suggested that the book be further developed because, at the moment, it is still “sufficient.” The development can be more like textbooks for future use.
