Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang aktif melibatkan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar mengakibatkan siswa sulit memahami materi sehingga mempengaruhi keaktifan dan hasil belajar. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan bertanya siswa adalah active learning tipe quiz team. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode active learning tipe quiz team terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan keaktifan bertanya siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen posttest only control grup design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh dengan mengambil sampel dua kelas melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi, tes, lembar observasi, dan angket. Untuk melihat pengaruh metode active learning tipe quiz team pada kelas eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar digunakan uji-t t yaitu t-testt polled varians dan dibantu dengan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan hasil data angket respon siswa. Sedangkan untuk keaktifan bertanya siswa dilihat dari hasil lembar observasi dan dibantu hasil data angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode active learning tipe quiz team memperoleh nilai yang lebih baik daripada metode kelas kontrol. Sedangkan untuk keaktifan bertanya siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan metode active learning tipe quiz team dan kelas kontrol termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik.

The use of teaching methods that do not actively involve students in the learning process results in students having difficulty understanding the material, thereby affecting their activeness and learning outcomes. One of the teaching methods capable of improving learning outcomes and students' questioning activeness is the quiz team type of active learning. This study aims to determine the influence of the quiz team type of active learning method on students' learning outcomes and questioning activeness. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design. The population of this study consisted of all the 11th-grade science students at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh, with two classes selected as samples through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using validation sheets, tests, observation sheets, and questionnaires. To see the effect of the active learning method of the quiz team type in the experimental class on learning outcomes, a t-test was used, namely the t-test polled variance and assisted by the results of observations of the implementation of learning and the results of student response questionnaire data. While for the activeness of student questions seen from the results of the observation sheet and assisted by the results of student response questionnaire data. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the learning outcomes of students who used the active learning method of the quiz team type obtained better scores than the control class method. While for the activeness of student questions in the experimental class with the active learning method of the quiz team type and the control class were included in the very good category.
