Penelitian ini berjudul "Implementasi Model Group Investigation Berbasis Pembelajaran Konstekstual Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Geografi Siswa Kelas XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh" Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah., (1). apakah implementasi model group investigation berbasis kontekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Geografi Siswa XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (2). Bagaimana aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam implementasi model group investigation berbasis kontekstual pada pelajaran Geografi Siswa XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (3). Bagaimana keterampilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan model group investigation berbasis kontekstual pada mata pelajaran Geografi Siswa XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., dan (4). bagaimana respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran Geografi yang diajarkan dengan implementasikan model group investigation berbasis kontekstual. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah., (1). untuk mengetahui implementasi model group investigation berbasis kontekstual dan pengaruhnya pada hasil belajar Geografi Siswa XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (2). Untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam implementasi model group investigation berbasis kontekstual pada pelajaran Geografi Siswa XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (3). Untuk mengetahui keterampilan guru dalam mengimplementasikan model group investigation berbasis kontekstual pada mata pelajaran Geografi Siswa XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., dan (4). untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran Geografi yang diajarkan dengan mengimplementasikan model group investigation berbasis kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian PTK. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 36 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengen pemberian tes dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan rumus distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian diketahui hasil penerapan model pembelajaran group investigation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran Geografi aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan disetiap siklus. Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada tindakan siklus I, II, dan III mengalami peningkatan disetiap pembelajaran group investigation dapat membuat siswa tertarik untuk mengikuti proses

siklusnya, dengan perolehan skor 2,41 (kategori sedang) pada siklus I, skor 2,91 (kategori baik) pada siklus II, skor 3,57 (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus III dan penerapan model

pembelajaran Geografi. Simpulan ialah implementasi model group investigation berbasis pembelajaran konstekstual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas XI SMA N 3 Banda Aceh.

ABSTRACT Nawal Azka (2024). Implementation of a Group Investigation Model Based on Contextual Learning to Improve Geography Learning Outcomes for Class XI Students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh. This research is entitled "Implementation of a Group Investigation Model Based on Contextual Learning to Improve Geography Learning Outcomes for Class XI Students of SMA N 3 Banda Aceh". The formulation of the problem in this research is, (1). whether the implementation of a contextual-based group investigation model can improve the Geography learning outcomes of XI Students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (2). What are the activities of teachers and students in implementing the contextual-based group investigation model in Geography lessons for XI students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (3). What are the teacher's skills in implementing a contextual-based group investigation model in the Geography subject for XI Students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh, and (4). How do students respond to Geography learning taught by implementing a contextual-based group investigation model. The objectives of this research are (1). to determine the implementation of the contextual-based group investigation model and its influence on the Geography learning outcomes of XI Students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (2). To find out the activities of teachers and students in implementing the contextual-based group investigation model in Geography lessons for XI students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., (3). To determine the teacher's skills in implementing a contextual-based group investigation model in the Geography subject for XI Students at SMA N 3 Banda Aceh., and (4). to determine students' responses to Geography learning taught by implementing a contextual- based group investigation model. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of PTK research. This research sample consisted of 36 students taken using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering tests and questionnaires. Data analysis uses the frequency distribution formula. Results research shows that the results of applying the group investigation learning model can improve student learning outcomes in Geography lessons in teacher and student activities the learning process experiences improvement in each cycle. Teachers' skills in managing learning in action cycles I, II, and III have increased each time cycle, with a score of 2.41 (medium category) in cycle I, a score of 2.91 (good category) in cycle II, a score of 3.57 (very good category) in cycle III and the application of the model Group investigation learning can make students interested in taking part in the Geography learning process. The conclusion is the implementation of a group-based investigation model contextual learning can improve Geography learning outcomes for class XI high school students N 3 Banda Aceh.
