Perkembangan UMKM yang sudah merata ke beberapa bagian Indonesia memberikan peluang ke berbagai kalangan masyarakat. Kalangan masyarakat tersebut membutuhkan berbagai penerapan yang tepat dalam kelanjutan usaha mereka terutama di Kota Banda Aceh. Kota Banda Aceh memiliki potensi dalam persaingan UMKM terhadap berbagai daerah lain baik dalam atau luar provinsi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam menganalisis penerapan kualitas, penjaminan mutu, dan halal pada UMKM Kota Banda Aceh dalam meningkatkan kinerja UMKM yaitu, total quality management, quality management system, dan sertifikasi halal. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode structural equation modelling (SEM) yang dibantu dengan software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) dan Analysis Of a Moment Structures (AMOS). Tujuan akhir dari penelitian ini yaitu mendapatkan variabel rekomendasi untuk difokuskan dalam pengembangan kinerja UMKM halal pangan Kota Banda Aceh yaitu, total quality management, quality management system, dan sertifikasi halal. Variabel-variabel yang diteliti dijadikan sebuah model struktural agar dapat dianalisis dan memperoleh hipotesis penelitian. Populasi dari penelitian ini berupa seluruh UMKM pangan halal Kota Banda Aceh sebanyak 140 usaha. Model pikiran yang diajukan dimasukkan dalam software AMOS yang kemudian akan dianalisis hubungan variabelnya serta ketepatan model yang telah diajukan. Setelah pengolahan ditemukan bahwa variabel total quality management dan quality management system belum memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Sementara variabel sertifikasi halal memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja UMKM. Hal ini menandakan bahwa variabel sertifikasi halal dapat dijadikan sebagai fokus Dinas Koperasi UMKM Aceh dalam mengembangkan kinerja UMKM halal pangan.

The development of MSMEs which has spread evenly to several parts of Indonesia provides opportunities for various groups of society. These groups of people need various appropriate applications in continuing their business, especially in the city of Banda Aceh. The city of Banda Aceh has the potential to compete with MSMEs against various other regions both within and outside the province. This research was carried out to analyze the implementation of quality, quality assurance and halal in Banda Aceh City MSMEs in improving the performance of MSMEs, namely, total quality management, quality management system and halal certification. This research was carried out using the structural equation modeling (SEM) method assisted by the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Analysis of a Moment Structures (AMOS) software. The final objective of this research is to obtain recommended variables to focus on in developing the performance of halal food MSMEs in Banda Aceh City, namely, total quality management, quality management system, and halal certification. The variables studied are used as a structural model so that they can be analyzed and obtain research hypotheses. The population of this research is all halal food MSMEs in Banda Aceh City, totaling 140 businesses. The proposed thought model is entered into AMOS software which will then be analyzed for variable relationships and the accuracy of the model that has been proposed. After processing it was found that the total quality management and quality management system variables did not have a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs. Meanwhile, the halal certification variable has a significant influence on the performance of MSMEs. This indicates that the halal certification variable can be used as a focus for the Aceh MSME Cooperative Service in developing the performance of halal food MSMEs.
