Metode Partial Least Square adalah proses pendugaan yang dilakukan secara iterasi dengan melibatkan variabel eksogen dan variabel endogen. Metode yang kedua dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi dengan komponen utamanya adalah variabel eksogen. Estimasi Partial Least Square terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu outer model, inner model, dan evaluasi model. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh model besarnya pengaruh variabel fluktuasi harga emas dan variabel strategi promosi penjualan secara serentak terhadap minat beli emas pada masyarakat Banda Aceh. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu variabel endogen (η) dan dua variabel eksogen, yaitu fluktuasi harga emas (ξ_1), dan strategi promosi (ξ_2). Hasil pada penelitian semua variabel bebas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berpengaruh terhadap minat beli mas pada masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh.

Partial Least Square method is a process of estimation that is done iteratively by involving exogenous and endogenous variables. The second method in this study is regression with the main component being the exogenous variable. Partial Least Square estimation is divided into three, namely outer model, inner model, and model evaluation. This study aims to obtain a model of the magnitude of the influence of gold price fluctuation variables and sales promotion strategy variables simultaneously on the interest in buying gold in Banda Aceh society. The data used in this study is secondary data. This study uses one endogenous variable (η) and two exogenous variables, namely gold price fluctuation (ξ_1), and promotion strategy (ξ_2). The results of the study show that all independent variables used in this study have an effect on the interest in buying gold on people in Banda Aceh City.
