Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi yang signifikan antara kebiasaan siswa EFL dalam mendengarkan podcast bahasa Inggris dan pemahaman mendengarkan mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional. Responden penelitian ini adalah 30 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Syiah Kuala. Responden dipilih secara purposive sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data, angket dan tes digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kuesioner digunakan untuk mengetahui kebiasaan mendengarkan siswa dalam mendengarkan podcast berbahasa Inggris. Sedangkan tes digunakan untuk mengukur skor pemahaman menyimak siswa. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan program SPSS 30.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa datanya normal. Hal ini berdasarkan nilai hasil Sig 0,200 yang berarti lebih besar dari nilai 0,05. Hasil perhitungan korelasi dengan SPSS adalah 0,021 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Dianggap Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Kesimpulannya, terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kebiasaan siswa EFL dalam mendengarkan podcast bahasa Inggris dan pemahaman mendengarkan mereka.

The objective of this research was to find out if there was any significant correlation between the EFL students’ habit in listening to English podcasts and their listening comprehension. This research used a quantitative correlational design. The respondents of this research were 30 students at English Education Department of Syiah Kuala University. The respondents were choosen by purposive sampling. In collected the data, questionnaire and test were used in this research. The questionnaire was used to obtain students listening habit in listening to English podcasts. While test was used to measure students' listening comprehension score. Then, the data were analyzed by SPSS 30.0 program. The result of this research showed that the data was normal. It was based on the result value was Sig 0.200 which means greater than the value 0.05. The result of correlation calculated by SPSS was 0,021 Which mean less than 0.05. It is considered that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. In conclusion, there was a significant correlation between EFL students’ habit in listening to English podcasts and their listening comprehension.
