Model pembelajaran kooperatif merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang diterapkan
di SMPN 1 Lokop. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi
belajar siswa dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif pada materi pemanasan
global di SMPN 1 Lokop. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan
angket dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan datanya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh
siswa di kelas VII-B yang berjumlah 69 siswa. Sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling
yaitu kelas VII-B dengan jumlah siswa 30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi siswa
dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif pada materi global warming berada pada tingkat
sangat baik (84,9 % ), hal ini juga didukung dari hasil wawancara terhadap siswa.
Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah siswa memiliki motivasi yang sangat baik dalam
pembelajaran kooperatif untuk materi pemanasan global.

Keywords: Student Motivation in Cooperative Learning Models on Material Global warming The cooperative learning model is one of the applied learning models at SMPN 1 Lokop. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of motivation student learning in the use of cooperative learning models on warm-up material at SMPN 1 Lokop. This research approach is qualitative by using questionnaires and interviews to collect the data. The population of this research is all students in class VII-B totaling 69 students. Samples were selected by purposive sampling namely class VII-B with a total of 30 students. The results of the study showed student motivation in the cooperative learning model on global warming material is at the level very good (84.9%), this is also supported by the results of interviews with students. The conclusion of this study is that students have very good motivation in cooperative learning for global warming material.
